For me, being a beneficiary of all that information feels like a big advantage. Every day, I receive email updates telling me what’s moving and what to watch next, so I’m never completely in the dark. Compared to many other prop firms, where the top management is usually quiet and you hardly hear from them, with Upside it’s different. You can actually feel that they’re involved.
And the account process is solid too. It’s not just “buy an account and good luck” — once you purchase, you’re given the resources and support to work on the account. That kind of guidance is really amazing.

To be honest, after how the prop industry can be, I spent months researching. I grilled multiple firms with questions over email, through chatbots, and even via their live helpdesk chats. It was a bit disappointing that some didn’t bother to reply at all, but I kept going. Eventually, I came across The Upside Funding—and honestly, it’s been a bit of a whirlwind. So far, it’s an easy 10/10 from me. ⭐
Quick summary of my experience with The Upside Funding so far:
• They’re transparent about how they operate and what actually makes them different.
• Their trading rules are clearly laid out, and the evaluation and fully funded processes are explained in a straightforward way.
• The payout structure, rules, and payment timing are easy to understand too—currently it looks like 75–90% depending on the stage.
• Customer service has been responsive. Like, genuinely fast, which you don’t always get.
• Three of the five founders work in the business day-to-day, and James (one of the founders) is available to funded traders because he’s head of trader management.
• They’ve got real experience—banking backgrounds from leading international banks—so it feels like they know how to run a trading business, not just market one.
• It’s founded by Australians and New Zealanders, and that gives me a bit more peace of mind compared to some other firms. I’m a Kiwi living in London, so maybe I’m biased, but still.
• Their attitude seems to be that they want traders to pass the evaluations, get funded, and start making proper real money.
• They even say they’ll pay a $1,000 bonus if they’re late making a payment. It’s a small extra “touch”, but I like seeing that kind of accountability.
• They’re actively encouraging more women to trade the markets. I honestly find that really refreshing.
• There’s also the chance to become a remote trader for TUF, with coaching and mentoring from their team—and potentially earn big money through trading.It’s early days in my FX journey with them, but right now it’s… so far, so good. I feel comfortable trading in this space, and because I’ve built a good relationship with James and the team (mainly via email and WhatsApp), I’m confident I’ll do well with the FX evaluations and beyond. In the end, if I succeed and improve financially, everyone benefits, right?

Hi, 2025 was a really stressful and financially rough year for me. Honestly, I had almost no hope, but I kept trying—especially the giveaways I saw on Instagram. In October, I won a ₹10k giveaway from TUF, and after that day I started working consistently to complete P1 and P2.
Then, by Dec 31, I requested my payout from TUF. Within 24 hours, it came through on 1.1.26. So yeah, that was a very good and much-needed start to the year.
What really impressed me was the UPSIDE side as well. They processed my payout on New Year, and the spreads felt tight and clean to trade with. It actually changed my perspective on UPSIDE—thank you.

My husband has been trading for a couple of years now, and recently he started looking into the prop trading world because he wants to trade other people’s capital as well as our own. He spent time researching loads of different prop firms and, if I’m honest, it was a bit disappointing—some of the behaviour he saw just didn’t sit right.
We nearly put the whole idea to bed until we came across The Upside Funding. He’s been genuinely impressed with how they go about things, the backgrounds of the founders, and the professionalism from day one. It’s rare to find a firm that seems to take the process seriously rather than just pushing people along.
I decided to write this because overnight the TUF support team were there to help him with some new technology he’s thinking about using. That sort of quick, practical assistance really goes beyond what you’d expect, especially when it’s not even during standard working hours.
I personally won’t be prop trading myself—I’m sticking with options only—but I do think it’s fair to give credit where credit’s due in this space. I’m looking forward to seeing how happy he’s going to be once he gets funded.

I’ve checked out a few other prop trading firms before, but I never signed up mainly because the fees felt too high, the trading restrictions were pretty strict, and the profit targets seemed kinda unrealistic.
With Upside, the pricing is reasonably fair, there are only a handful of restrictions, and the targets feel more achievable.
From my side, the setup was smooth too—after I made my payment, I was able to start trading within about 15–20 minutes. The whole process was straightforward and, honestly, glitch free. -

First of all, I’d like to appreciate the support team for the dedication they show toward customer care. Secondly, I want to comment on how efficient the propfirm is. From my side, once you pass a phase, you don’t have to wait days just to get your certificate or to move to the next step—everything is handled pretty fast, usually within 1–2 days, depending on verification. So far, my experience with this prop has been really superb. There are no lags in the process, and I haven’t come across any hidden rules either. It’s genuinely transparent, and that makes a difference.

Awalnya saya agak khawatir soal transaksi, tapi ternyata semuanya jelas dan rapi banget di dashboard mereka. Untuk profit split, bisa sampai 88% (mendekati 90-an), dan weekend holding juga masih diperbolehkan, jadi lebih fleksibel buat yang punya jadwal. I’ve tried other platforms that use a trailing drawdown, and honestly it drives me nuts. With this one, the 9% is static, so my buffer doesn’t keep shrinking as profits build up. Phase 1’s 9% target and Phase 2’s 5% are similar in spirit, just set for different goals. To me, that feels fair—especially since you get unlimited time.
