    Apex really needs to step up its game. It’s hard to believe they can tout themselves as the premier prop firm in the industry when their customer support and payout processes keep falling short. What’s happening right now is simply unacceptable, and it’s disappointing to think that the CEO is allowing this to occur.

    Over the past couple of years, I’ve withdrawn significant amounts from Apex, yet I’m currently facing issues myself. And just to clarify, I don’t engage in dollar-cost averaging. Attempting to connect with their support team to sort out payout problems feels like a daunting challenge.

    Honestly, I’m on the verge of withdrawing all my funds and switching to a live account with a different broker. I can’t stand dealing with issues that persist without resolution. More often than not, it feels as if I’m the one doing the labor for Apex, rather than them servicing me. After all, I’m the paying customer, but they seem to overlook that fact. It’s as if they feel entitled to my money, whether it comes from funded accounts, evaluation fees, or the cash that’s supposedly mine sitting in their system.

    With each passing day, I find my respect and trust in them dwindling.

    I’ve been with Apex for more than a year now, but these last couple of months have been increasingly concerning. The decline in customer service quality has surprised me, especially considering the surge of one-star reviews flooding in recently. It’s clear that something unusual is happening, and it seems like Apex is trying to obscure or postpone the reality of the situation.

    In just the past two months, I’ve noticed several troubling trends:
    – They are now “strictly enforcing” rules that were previously not applied.
    – Payout approval times have stretched to the full 15 days.
    – They’ve shut down social media groups, likely to slow down communication.
    – Responses to customer service tickets are dragging out beyond five days, often with no reply at all.
    – Interestingly, Apex addresses negative reviews faster than they do support tickets.

    Reflecting on my own experiences lately:
    – I traded for over 10 days before requesting a payout, waited 15 days for it to be reviewed, only to be denied for “Min Balance Not Met.”
    – After trading another 10 days to submit a payout request, I faced another 15-day wait, which ended in rejection due to “News trading.” I was asked to provide proof of my strategy and its consistency, which took me hours of markups and screenshots to compile. After sending everything to support, I received no response after a week.
    – Throughout this entire time, I’ve been trading the same way for over a year, with multiple prior payout approvals, but now it feels like a complete wasteland.
    – In total, I’ve spent around 57 days without any outcome and still had to pay my subscription fees for those two months.

    All these warning signs give me serious déjà vu; they remind me of other firms right before they went under. Additionally, I’ve observed that new members are getting approved and paid out significantly faster than long-standing clients like me. It feels like they’re more interested in attracting new traders who are likely to fail evaluations, rather than supporting consistent traders who actually take payouts. I haven’t seen any traders moving to live accounts, so it’s puzzling what their strategy is with committed traders.

    So this is my perspective: new traders, proceed with caution.

    P.S. It’s worth noting that Apex seems to try to suppress negative reviews and often floods platforms with automated five-star ratings to counterbalance any criticism. Just something to keep an eye on.

    Note: I plan to provide a more comprehensive review later.

    Overall, my experience with Apex has been quite positive since it’s the first trading firm I joined. They support a wide range of platforms, and I appreciate that they allow up to 20 accounts per household. This feature is excellent for diversifying and managing risk. I’ve received two payouts so far, despite the ongoing issues surrounding the firm. One payout got approved just hours before the next window opened, while the other took around three days after the window opened for approval.

    That said, there are definitely areas that need improvement, and the poll they conducted in June pointed them in the right direction. The payout process, in particular, could be more efficient. I often find myself waiting until the start of the next period to find out whether my payout has been approved.

    Another downside is the vague feedback provided on rejection cases. There’s a lot of lengthy content that discusses rejections in general, but it would be far more helpful to receive specific examples pulled from our own trading logs.

    There’s been quite a bit of chatter regarding concerns about Apex’s stability, and the sudden closure of their Discord, along with the deletion of all related messages, certainly hasn’t helped. They’ve stated that improvements are underway, but honestly, that hasn’t alleviated much of my concern. And, the rules on Discord can be rather frustrating.

    Regarding customer support, I had a payout denied, which prompted me to submit a review ticket, as I suspect it was turned down due to misunderstanding. Ticket number 604484 has been open for 11 days, and I followed up with a message six days ago. This sluggish response is troubling. To be transparent, support has typically been quick for me, but the wait on this specific ticket is notably excessive.

    While my review may seem somewhat critical, I would still rate Apex 4 out of 5. I might even change that to 5 if they can address these concerns effectively.

    I truly hope Apex remains operational so that traders who trust in them can continue to grow alongside the firm.

    I recently encountered some peculiar and somewhat inconvenient experiences with my Tradovate accounts. When I reached out to customer support for assistance and clarification about the workings of their systems, I found that Tradovate themselves didn’t provide much insight. However, I had the opportunity to speak with Mr. Zack from APEX, who offered a thorough, point-by-point breakdown of the situation that was incredibly helpful. While I won’t take responsibility for others’ opinions, I would like to share a few conclusions I’ve drawn:

    For instance, if you have an active Tradovate account and choose to cancel it, be aware that it will still appear on all platforms, including NinjaTrader, allowing you to use it as a simulation account. In fact, maintaining a canceled account is crucial for practice in simulation mode on the Tradovate platform since they do not originally provide a sim account. After the cancellation, this account becomes “free of charge” for indefinite use until you exceed the subscribed allowable maximum loss, at which point it will vanish from your platforms. Keep in mind that you WILL NOT be able to take the exam trading on a canceled account, and it won’t appear on your APEX dashboard, as it is, after all, a canceled account. Mr. Zack noted that both APEX and Tradovate are working on a synchronization process to ensure all information matches on both ends.

    Additionally, I want to highlight a small but significant difference regarding account numbering. If an active APEX account fails, it’ll turn gray under the “admin only” logo, and from either reset or a new billing cycle, it will return to regular functionality under the same account number. Conversely, failed accounts on Tradovate will disappear entirely from all your platforms; however, they remain viewable on your APEX dashboard until the next billing date. On that billing date, the NEW account will appear on all your platforms and the APEX dashboard, continuing under the same agreement and price you initially signed up for, albeit with a different account number—following the sequence of your existing ones.

    Should you need further information, don’t hesitate to reach out to the APEX support team. They tend to be more helpful than Tradovate’s, although Tradovate does offer more platform options compared to APEX’s single offering. One key takeaway is this: nobody will fully satisfy your curiosity or answer all your questions in one go. You’ll need to conduct your own research and draw from personal observations, as who better than ourselves to understand what works best for us?

    I adhered to all the guidelines and ultimately received my payout. While it does take a bit longer to get paid, that’s just part of the deal when you’re working with one of the top high-leverage providers available. In my view, the benefits far outweigh any delays. Of course, if you’re in a hurry, you can always opt to trade with capped leverage providers that process payouts more quickly.

    After discussing my concerns with their team, it became clear they have a troubling practice regarding payouts. They openly admitted that if a trader halts their activities after requesting a withdrawal, the payout could be denied. This rule is exceptionally frustrating. Imagine working diligently for two weeks, submitting a request for a payout, only to be met with refusal because you took a break. They essentially compel you to keep trading, likely in an effort to push you below the withdrawal threshold or to deplete your account entirely.

    I was told: “If a trader hits their profit target but stops trading due to concerns about losing the balance, we might deny the payout since it’s not in line with our policy.”

    This quote comes straight from their support team. Despite my attempts to share this information, they removed my previous review and accused me of dishonesty. Therefore, I feel compelled to share my experience as it stands.

    Recently, I encountered some challenges with my debit card after a fraud incident on my checking account. As a result, I needed to update my payment details for my Apex evaluation, especially with a payment approaching. I input my new information, but unfortunately, it didn’t save. To make sure everything was documented, I snapped some pictures and sent them to support.

    The next day, I was able to trade without any issues. However, the following morning, I was shocked to find that my $250,000 evaluation account had vanished due to non-payment. At that point, I was just about $2,500 shy of passing, with over $6,000 in drawdown, which made it an incredibly frustrating day for me.

    After a long day at work, I returned home hoping for some news but received no reply. The next day, as I arrived at work, I was relieved to find an email from Apex stating that my account had been reinstated and my payment information was correctly updated. I was overjoyed—if there were an option for 10 stars, I would gladly give it!

It’s hard for me to justify paying for another account when I feel there’s a possibility that Apex might not be fulfilling payouts to traders.     Apex has come through once again. I submitted my accounts on July 4th, and by July 15th, they had approved everything promptly. I saw the money in my bank today. Huge thanks to Apex for this opportunity! Now, I’m just waiting for the approvals for the period between July 15th and 20th.

    For anyone interested in trying Apex, it’s best to ignore the misleading propaganda. Just stick to their guidelines, and you’ll definitely receive your payouts.
