I have been trading with multiple Apex PA accounts, and I must say, the experience has been impressive. The payouts were approved promptly, and I received the funds deposited the very next day! I’m excited for the upcoming payout.

What I appreciate about Apex:

– Their automated systems for account creation and promotional pricing are impressive and often run multiple times, making it easy to get started.
– Personally, I’m a big fan of the $50,000 accounts due to their low trailing threshold of just $2,600. This means I can withdraw anything I earn beyond that amount.
On the other hand, here are some aspects I find frustrating:
– The withdrawal limit—only two times a month—is quite restrictive compared to other firms that offer same-day withdrawals.
– The dollar-cost averaging rule is another sore spot for me; I can’t average down more than twice on any trade, which I find limiting.
– Overall, the rules for the live funded accounts feel more restrictive in comparison to other firms that generally provide a more liberal approach. This can hinder my ability to implement a wider variety of trading strategies.
– Additionally, I prefer having the flexibility to adjust my position size based on market conditions, rather than sticking to a uniform size, which I find rather limiting.
– Lastly, I’m not a fan of strict risk-to-reward ratio mandates and oversight; this just doesn’t align with my trading style.
While I hope to adapt to their guidelines and make a profit, the stringent rules do pose a challenge.

Avoid trading with Apex!
Initially, they might pay out to new traders who haven’t earned much, but once you hit those uncapped payouts, expect them to search for every excuse not to pay you. Consider this your warning.
After dedicating months to refining my four APs, I consistently adhered to each rule. However, after a year of evaluations and navigating several APs, the firm abruptly decided to prohibit trading treasury bonds, and they didn’t even give us a heads-up. In hindsight, I should’ve picked up on the red flags in the months leading up to this; several trading acquaintances had experienced a lack of communication from Apex come payout time. Their communication style feels quite unprofessional, and their day-to-day management practices leave much to be desired. Currently, I still hold four PAs, which means I’m stuck trading assets that don’t align with my preferences. I’m part of a large community of traders, and it seems like many are now moving away from Apex. My advice? Don’t consider investing in them for the long haul.
The payment process leaves much to be desired; it’s not as timely as advertised on their website. While I do appreciate the quick responses from customer service, the actual processing tends to lag behind. It’s a necessary step back for me, as I hope to see them develop a more functional framework that doesn’t penalize the traders they aim to nurture. Since joining in January 2022, I’ve certainly paid a price—not only for my mistakes but for theirs as well—using my time and capital, all without voicing complaints. I remember when they required a trading commitment of 25 days! I truly respected that process and the opportunity that came with it.
However, I have yet to witness Apex doing right by me or other traders. Transparency around approvals is sorely lacking, which makes me skeptical about their future payments to me. To be honest, it feels like a troubled operation right now. I expected some turbulence during their growth phase, but let me be clear: calling this a “scam” would be grossly unfair. I believe in the integrity of the people at Apex; they have built a successful enterprise and, like myself, they are driven by passionate ambition to grow their business.
That said, it’s apparent that the current incentives of Apex aren’t aligned with those of the traders. The affiliates seem to profit the most, but I question whether they bear any real risks or follow any guidelines. Who should be rewarded here—traders or affiliates? I’ve seen an affiliate network that can engage in activities like running VPNs and copying trades across hundreds of traders. It’s alarming when a firm tells me they could copy trade my account along with a thousand others from Apex on their platform.
There’s always a looming deadline, a recurrent problem, or an email about payout expectations that surface every couple of weeks. If Apex wants to progress, they need to choose whether to invest in traders or discard them. I’m open to rejoining them if I begin hearing positive changes, but the argument of bad actors tarnishing the company doesn’t excuse their shortcomings.
Is Apex an affordable and solid place to learn trading? Absolutely. Is it a long-term solution? Only time will reveal that. One constructive suggestion—here’s a gentle way to phrase it—consider creating a Discord channel with no member comments allowed, just moderators. Let us have access so we can see updates, weekly videos, promotions—anything really. Acknowledge our doubts; many of us can recognize the social media conflict. If we could use Discord for clarity, it would bring us peace.
The overwhelming silence from them creates significant issues, and poor communication accounts for about 95% of the problems. In my opinion, Apex is number one, but they must resolve these issues. I genuinely want to see them succeed and provide traders a fair chance to build their careers in this industry, but it feels off-balance currently. Good luck, Apex—I hope to work with you again one day.

I recently watched the video put out by Darrell. While it certainly came across as professional, I couldn’t help but notice that it fell short in addressing the crucial topic of payouts. He mentioned they are quicker, but there are still numerous accounts of traders being denied payouts. If someone breaks a rule, that’s understandable, but the lack of feedback on what those infractions were is troubling. Numerous individuals have shared their experiences of being denied payouts without any clear explanation.
I also had a conversation with a female trader who faced a similar situation; she was completely in the dark about why her payout was denied. She painstakingly reviewed all her trades, hoping to identify a potential rule violation, but found none. Even after providing video evidence of her trades, she still received no explanation for the denial. This is, quite frankly, unacceptable—especially when a trader’s livelihood is at stake. The least one could expect is transparency and prompt communication regarding payout issues.
In contrast, there are other companies out there like Tradify, TopStep, Take Profit, and Fast Track Trading that don’t deny payouts and avoid convoluted rules that could lead to a forfeiture of funds. It raises the question: how can you claim to be doing better for the customer if this is the standard? Firms that operate with just a couple of straightforward rules—such as don’t blow your account—provide a level of clarity that is critical. Trading can indeed be incredibly frustrating, and not receiving a payout after making a profit is hardly beneficial for any trader. On a positive note, the video was well produced, and I appreciate that there was no disrespectful tone this time.
Recently, I experienced a significant setback with my trading account, which had a balance of $100,000. At one point, I was excitedly up to $104,000, just waiting to get funded. I was trading Platinum using the Tradovate app, focusing on the September contract. Unfortunately, I ended up losing $490, which took me back down to $103,500.
Then, out of the blue, my account got closed due to the switch from the September Platinum contract to the October one, all happening within the same day. I was only trading what was available on the Tradovate watchlist, and it felt like I was tricked. There was no warning, and just like that, my account was shut down. I lost everything, even though I had been in a strong position. I had read some negative reviews on Trustpilot about this firm being a scam, but I thought I’d give it a shot. Now, I truly regret my decision.
I had an experience trading futures with this firm last year, and I would not recommend it. The trailing drawdown was quite overwhelming 🤯. Additionally, the website lacks professionalism; there’s an excessive amount of cluttered information that makes it challenging to grasp their offerings. Understanding their objectives feels like a daunting task. Furthermore, their software is not compatible with Mac computers, which is a significant drawback. It seems the owner should consider investing more resources into hiring skilled web developers to improve the site.

I’ve been trading with Apex for nearly a year and have successfully received around $75,000 in payouts. Initially, everything ran smoothly; approvals happened without a hitch. However, the situation took a turn around June with the whole DCA saga, which really changed the landscape. Naturally, I complied with their new rules. Just recently, I was denied a payout from one of my accounts because of “Probation Standards Not Met.” Ironically, I only found out today that I was on probation. I had been trading successfully for ten days and felt fully entitled to my payout, having followed all the rules meticulously.
If you’re thinking I might’ve inadvertently broken a rule, think again—I’m quite diligent about adhering to guidelines. I’m someone who knows when I’ve made a mistake. Instead of getting a chance to explain my side, I received an email stating I can no longer purchase evaluations and will be under scrutiny for the next thirty days. This feels monumentally unfair, and I’m seriously considering taking legal action. Apex seems to be operating as a total scam and is clearly running low on funds. They might just be the first major proprietary trading firm to face a reckoning for their deceptive practices.
Rather than approving my payout and acknowledging my solid trading performance, as most prop firms would do, they denied my payout first. This forces me to risk my hard-earned money again for yet another thirty days of trading before I can request my payout anew. If you’re in a similar situation, I strongly advise reaching out to your credit card company to dispute those transactions. Don’t hesitate—Apex is unlikely to take action on your behalf. And if you think this could never happen to you because you trade flawlessly, you might want to reconsider. Apex is targeting as many traders as they can. Those never-ending sales only serve to swell their coffers without validating traders’ efforts. What good are low-cost evaluations or lifetime subscriptions if your payouts get arbitrarily denied? It’s appalling.
As for their management, I have my suspicions about individuals like Darryl, and I truly believe that consequences are forthcoming for such behavior. This company is operating on a fraudulent level, and if you continue trading with them under these conditions, you might want to reevaluate your choices.
