I’m not sure what’s going on, but every time I try to engage in live trading, I’m blocked from entering the market, despite having completed my evaluation, signed the necessary documents, and made my payment. I submitted my documents late Monday night around 10 PM and made the payment the next day. Now it’s Friday, and although I received an email confirming that everything is set up and even providing me with an account number for my proprietary account, I still can’t trade live or connect my Tradovate to Tradeview. If you’re relying on a mobile setup like I am, there really should be a simpler way for all of this to function. It’s been a week now since I purchased a $50,000 Tradovate account, and the whole process has been incredibly slow and frustrating. I honestly didn’t expect to wait another week before I could even think about starting to trade futures.

I have to say, the platform is solid and the support team is really serious about helping traders. I recently received my first payout, which confirmed that everything works as it should. Throughout my time using the platform, I haven’t encountered any major issues related to technical reliability. If you’re considering a funded trading journey, I would definitely recommend APEX.
That said, there are a few areas where improvements could be made. For instance, the market depth data is somewhat limited, showing only 10 points on either side, which may not be enough for all traders. Additionally, the inability to use bracket orders across multiple accounts makes the trade copier feature ineffective for my needs.

Apex has undergone quite a transformation in the past couple of years. This evolution has stirred some controversy in the media, particularly as their rules around risk management and capital use have become more stringent.
Since I joined Apex in late 2022, it took me until early 2024 before I finally started turning a profit. So far, I’ve been able to withdraw over $60,000, with another $120,000 lined up in my pipeline.
I’m not an influencer or an affiliate; I’m just a dedicated full-time trader on a quest to make a comfortable living doing what I’m passionate about.
I did face a setback once when I was denied a payout due to an infraction of their 30% unrealized drawdown rule. However, after trading within the set risk parameters for another eight days, I received payouts without any issues. One payout led to another, and I consistently adhered to their guidelines.
If you’re contemplating trading with Apex, my recommendation is to go for it.
A huge thanks to Apex for their improvements and the launch of Apex 3.0. The faster payout processes, along with the streamlined rules, are definitely a plus.

I’m really glad I got in on the APEX Beta Testing, where it’s now possible to manage 20 accounts through a single platform (Wealth Charts) at impressive speeds, all without having to install any additional software on my computer. I can hardly wait until this feature is rolled out widely. Kudos to APEX and Wealth Charts for this innovation! My trading experience has greatly improved, and I feel like I’ve gained a significant edge in the markets. Since joining APEX, it’s become clear that their primary mission is to cultivate disciplined, consistent traders who adhere not just to APEX rules but also to their own. It’s important to approach reviews with a balanced perspective, but my experience with Apex has been quite negative. I’ve had five consecutive payout requests denied, each time citing dubious reasons even though I’ve adhered to all their rules. Oddly enough, other traders who’ve received payouts are just as baffled by their unwillingness to compensate. It’s hard not to notice they haven’t reopened their Discord since last summer, likely to avoid the backlash they know would emerge.
The most recent denial mentioned my risk ratio being “below 1:5,” which seems ridiculous since I had just closed a trade at breakeven a few hours earlier. It’s quite clear that influencers and YouTubers who promote Apex, seemingly for monetary gain, do not reflect the experiences of many of us who actually trade.
Additionally, I’ve encountered their recurring claim of “improper risk management” for the third time since last November. I use consistent position sizes and the same targets and stop-loss measures for each trade, so this excuse feels completely unfounded. It’s frustrating to deal with what seems like a lack of integrity and transparency. One can only hope that legal action stirs some accountability and compels them to treat traders fairly.
It’s surprising that Apex appears to be the only prop firm hesitant to process my payments.
To Apex: this is deeply disappointing!

It’s incredibly frustrating to deal with the numerous obstacles these proprietary trading firms put in your way before you can even see a profit. When signing up, they definitely don’t make it clear what’s in store for you.
To start off, you’re required to pass an evaluation within a month, and you need to generate $3,000. Once you succeed, you transition to a paid account, but there’s a catch—you begin in a simulated environment. This means you effectively have to pass another evaluation, which costs you an extra $2,500 plus an additional $100. Only after that will you be eligible to withdraw any earnings, and even then, the maximum amount you can request is only $500.
There’s absolutely no flexibility. If you manage to pass on the very last day before your recurring bill is due, they will still slap you with the activation fee and the usual charges. Essentially, you’re paying double for a simulated paid account. It’s not surprising that so many traders in these firms are losing money.
Steer clear of these firms at all costs!

Just two days ago, I faced some odd and erratic behavior with my trading chart, which led to a pretty significant financial loss. Interestingly, I didn’t file any complaints or reach out about it.
Then just yesterday, APEX sent out a notice mentioning they hit a connection snag with their gateway. Thanks to that, all losses and negative PnLs got reset back to the previous day’s positions. So, in the end, my losses were wiped clean.
This whole experience truly highlights APEX’s dedication to being a dependable and trustworthy trading-funding firm.

Apex definitely fulfills its payout obligations, countering some claims that suggest otherwise. I can assure you, as of February 7, 2025, they do pay out. There was a time when I didn’t pass a payout due to not meeting the necessary requirements, which resulted in a denial. However, just eight days later, after adhering to the rules, I successfully received my payout. While it’s true that there isn’t much direct communication with the compliance team, rest assured they do follow through on their end. Apex takes its payout rules seriously and is dedicated to honoring payouts as long as traders comply with the established criteria.

One of the features I appreciate most is the eight trading days to request a payout. In the past, I often missed deadlines due to not having the required trading days. Now, I can submit my request anytime I hit the eight-day mark. Plus, the approvals have been pretty swift, with funds hitting my account in about three to four days, so I can’t complain at all.
If I could offer some advice, it would be to maintain your consistency, adhere to the rules, and celebrate all victories—big or small. Remember, making money can actually be quite boring because it often involves repeating the same successful strategies every day! 🤣
