The experience I had with FT9JA was quite disappointing. I invested considerable time and money, purchasing over 20 accounts at various levels ($3,000, $5,000, and $25,000).
In the first instance, after hitting the 25% target, I was met with disqualification, often using the vague excuse of “violation of daily drawdown limit.” In many situations, I hadn’t actually violated any limits.
Then there was the issue with the talent bonus; despite multiple reminders on my part, they ignored my requests completely. As a result, I missed out on some profits the following week, ultimately leading to the loss of my account. Interestingly, I never received any talent bonus at all for the three accounts that supposedly passed their evaluation.
Once I reached the Aso stage, they found additional ways to disqualify my account.
From what I’ve uncovered, FT9JA lacks any genuine affiliation or recognition from the brokers they claim, particularly Deriv. They merely set up a demo account for subscribers and link it to some undisclosed master account. Both accounts are controlled by a trade manager that copies trades, adjusts stop losses, and often ends up safeguarding against significant losses. As traders strive to meet that 25% target, they end up enriching this deceptive team by about 25% ROI over 30 days. However, once you try to cash out, they find ways to shut you out.
My experience taught me that while opening a $250 account—which relates to the maximum daily drawdown limit of a $5,000 account—I managed to achieve a profit of $1,250 while passing their evaluation. Essentially, they expect you to multiply that $250 five-fold to qualify. Rather than going through this process, it would be more beneficial to pursue your own trading account.
I sincerely hope that one day, we’ll see a truly honest and responsible proprietary trading firm that deals with Deriv synthetic indices. If that happens, they’ll undoubtedly dominate the market quickly.

A few years back, I stumbled upon FT9ja and, out of curiosity, I checked their reviews on Trustpilot. To be honest, I wasn’t too impressed with what I saw. But then again, considering I had already lost over $200 on Deriv, I thought to myself, why not give FT9ja a shot? If it works out, great!
Initially, their website wasn’t the most user-friendly—I struggled to track my daily drawdown and other key metrics. Unfortunately, this led to me failing my first account. Despite that setback, I remained determined. I tried again and faced yet another failure, mainly because the only way to monitor my drawdown was through customer support, which left me feeling skeptical and questioning whether it was a scam. Eventually, I decided to give up.
However, everything changed when they revamped their website. I took the plunge and bought an account once more. Each day as I traded, I visited the new site to monitor my progress. I successfully earned funds in my Zuma account, and later in Aso as well, with weekly payouts based on my earnings—an impressive 80%.
I genuinely believe FT9ja is 100% legitimate. If anyone out there has had a negative experience with them, don’t hesitate to reach out to me. I’ll gladly walk you through the steps to help clarify any confusion you might have.

Scam; scamming; scammers. I’ve purchased as many as four accounts from this firm, and every time they come up with a new excuse that seems unfounded and impossible to verify. The last incident was particularly shocking. I challenged an account with a balance of $5,000, which was supposed to be completed two days ago, on November 18, 2023. I monitored all my stops closely. On that final day, Saturday the 18th, my starting equity and balance stood at $5,303. The highest drawdown for that day was -$198. I managed to hit my target at $5,507, only to be informed by them that I had violated the daily drawdown rule on that very last day! Seriously, what’s 5% of $5,303?
I truly believe these people are robbing individuals blind.
After reading various reviews on Friday, I decided to reach out to one of the brokers they claim to partner with, IC Markets. In hindsight, I should have done this much sooner. IC Markets was thankful for my message, denied any association with this firm, and assured me that they would report the site.
Nigerians, why do we allow this? If you were legitimate, taking just 20% from serious, good traders would be more than enough to elevate you to great heights! But instead, you’ve chosen to waste people’s time and exploit them. Mark my words, the consequences will come to you, no matter how anonymous you think you are.
