There was a time when I lost a significant amount of money due to one of these issues, and I was disappointed that they didn’t offer any compensation, primarily because I didn’t have video evidence to back up my claim. In fact, they tend to use these against you at crucial moments, particularly when you reach the payout request stage after being funded. I’ve faced significant issues with communication and am still in limbo waiting for my payout to be processed. At this point, I have no intention of returning; there are definitely better competitors in the futures trading space.

It raises questions when I see positive reviews—could those who rated them three stars or above be receiving some form of compensation? Speaking from personal experience, I invested in Topstep for approximately ten months, navigating through numerous challenges along the way. Out of nowhere, my account was blocked, and they claimed it was due to fraud. This was simply because I utilized a different bank account—one from a reputable and trusted institution. To make matters worse, my attempts to reach out via email for clarification and to provide proof of my bank card went unanswered. It’s disheartening to realize that the time, money, and effort I put in may have been in vain, potentially falling victim to deception.

If you’re thinking about starting to trade with this firm or are currently investing your money in hopes of seeing returns, it’s crucial to reconsider. Unfortunately, this company seems to be a scam. I initially dismissed warnings I saw on YouTube about their questionable practices, but then I experienced it firsthand.
After 10 months of investing my funds, I suddenly received a notice claiming that my card had been flagged as fraudulent, despite being from a well-respected banking institution. To add to the frustration, my emails have gone unanswered. The email address they provided is aj.davis@topstep-949ca9db770d.intercom-mail, which seems dubious at best.
If you’re evaluating this company for trading or are still financially involved, I urge you to step back and disengage. Staying with them could end up costing you both money and time.

The AI bot they use is completely ineffective, and there’s absolutely no guidance on their website regarding how I can remove my details or finalize my account closure.

They informed me there was a chargeback involved. I promptly replied to their email, letting them know that I’ve sorted things out with my bank and explained the entire situation. However, it’s now been four days without a single response!
I’m really just looking for TopStep to assist me in resolving this matter to finally receive my withdrawal.
It’s frustrating to be waiting this long without any feedback.
