    The customer service experience at this firm leaves much to be desired, making it difficult to recommend their services. During my attempt to resolve an issue, I found no assistance whatsoever. Rather than addressing my concerns, the representatives seemed more focused on repeating scripted information instead of actually solving problems for their clients.

    There are definitely superior trading platforms that provide better incentives for a similar price point. It’s not uncommon to interact with representatives regarding payouts and the intricacies of challenges, and unfortunately, the customer service at Top Tier is severely lacking. In fact, if I could give less than one star, I absolutely would.

    For anyone considering a trading challenge, I’d suggest looking into Instant Funding or FTMO instead. I’ve had excellent experiences with customer service from both of these firms.

    As a long-time supporter of TT, I’ve held them in high regard, largely thanks to my mentor, whom I consider a true legend in the field. However, I must candidly say that TT has one of the worst document verification processes I’ve ever encountered. Honestly, what’s the deal, guys? I’ve never faced these kinds of issues with other proprietary trading firms in the past. To add insult to injury, I was banned from the platform without any explanation. When I reached out via email, the responses from the “verification” department were vague and unhelpful, often just filled with excuses. After putting in days, weeks, and even months to succeed in the challenge, it’s incredibly frustrating to have to deal with this situation.

    After trading with my live account for some time, I signed a contract on February 2. This contract didn’t mention anything about a 3% rule breach. However, when I went to request my payout, I was informed that I had violated the 3% rule on a single position on February 18, although the rule supposedly took effect on February 17. It’s worth noting that only two individuals on the leaderboard have not lost 3% on a single trade.

    The firm claims they sent me an email about this rule, but I checked my inbox and there was nothing. Since the contract I signed governs my account and lacks any mention of this rule, I believe it shouldn’t be enforced against me until the contract is updated. Unfortunately, they are refusing my payout. I have a strong feeling that others from the leaderboard will face similar issues when they request their payouts, which seems really unfair and unprofessional. It’s not right for a company to change rules that aren’t included in the contract clauses.

    Be warned about potential issues with TopTier Trader. It seems that they may fail you under the guise of KYC verification.

    Just yesterday morning, I received a verification from Sumsub for my KYC, but after a long 14-hour wait, I got an email from TopTier Trader stating that my KYC failed due to a mismatch in the name on the address document. In my country, rented properties can indeed be in my wife’s name as well, which created complications. Initially, I submitted an electricity bill in her name, and when they declined it, I then provided my bank statement, which had my name on it. Despite being verified by Sumsub, their risk team claimed they couldn’t onboard me due to the earlier document issue.

    To make matters worse, they even banned my account from accessing their platform.

    For context, I’ve successfully funded accounts with other proprietary firms using the same documentation without any hiccups. I even offered to have a video interview for the KYC verification process, but they turned down that option as well. I have all the necessary documents and can present them if required by any authority.

    My account number is 1246236.

    So here’s my advice to aspiring prop firm traders: steer clear of TopTier Trader. It’s best not to waste your time, energy, and money.

    Update: Following your response, I reached out to your support team, and they stated that their decision regarding my KYC verification is final. This is quite disappointing. Please stop wasting people’s time and energy; these practices are truly concerning.

    I recently received an email from TopTier Trader regarding my trading account (1158385), and I’d like to share my experience.

    The email stated:

    “Dear Trader,

    We hope this message finds you well. After a thorough review of your trading activities, we’ve noticed behavior categorized as “Copy Trading.” This is considered a violation of our trading rules, specifically falling under the “Prohibited Trading Practices,” as outlined in our Risk Management Policy.

    Violation Details:
    Type: Copy Trading

    Consequences:
    Due to this violation, TopTier Trader will implement the following actions:
    – Termination of all associated accounts.
    – Rejection of any pending payouts.
    – Immediate ban from our platform.
    – A refund will be issued for any active challenges that haven’t failed or are not currently in a loss, with the funds returned to the original payment method.

    The confusing part is that their website claims copy trading is permitted. It seems that when they noticed I was on track to successfully complete the challenge, they suddenly introduced this new rule. So far, I haven’t received my refund or any proof that they’ve actually processed it, despite what they indicated in the email.

    My account was doing well, on the verge of passing the challenge. I would advise others to be cautious and think twice before investing their time and money with this firm.

    Be cautious about challenges posed by this firm. I recently submitted a ticket to Top Tier Trader concerning an incident where my stop loss (SL) was automatically adjusted by their platform, Tradelocker. The reply I received from customer service was rather disappointing. They told me that under simulated market conditions, there’s no guarantee that stop losses or take profits (TPs) will execute at the intended prices due to slippage during sudden market moves or when liquidity is low. While I can appreciate that slippage happens quite frequently in the trading world, it was disheartening to learn that no broker can ensure precise order execution in those scenarios.

    After reviewing my trades, the team insisted that the trade executed under normal conditions and that there was nothing more to be done. This left me feeling like my concern was not genuinely addressed, as I really expected better protections for order execution, even in simulation environments. I have ample evidence to back this up.

    If you’re thinking about using Top Tier Trader, definitely consider the limitations of their platform, especially regarding stop loss execution during unpredictable market conditions.

    Toptier has not lived up to their promises. If there were an option to share what I’m about to say visually, it might have been clearer. Last year, they introduced a free $5,000 challenge account, which I applied for and thankfully got. I started using it as a training tool. They claimed that the account would be available until 2027. Unfortunately, they were unable to keep their word, as I found out that my account, which I left inactive for just a few weeks in December, was disabled due to inactivity. I brushed that off and started practicing on my brother’s account.

    As of last week, his account balance was $4,794. I made a profit of $624, but when I reviewed my trades for the day, I saw a total loss of $561, leaving my total profit at $5,372. I tried to overlook that, but on the same dashboard last week, I noticed my profit target was set at $127 to pass the challenge. On Monday, January 27, 2025, I lost three trades with a total loss of $49, only to find that my overall profit had dropped to $4,750. My account equity displayed $4,750, while the account balance showed $5,400. The discrepancies were glaring, leading me to the conclusion that Toptier is neither trustworthy nor reliable.
