This is, in my opinion, a legally shady “bait and switch” by Take Profit.
They advertise a promotion where you can buy a test account with a promo code for $100. Then, after you spend quite a bit with the company, they offer you a way to use your accumulated points and coupon to open a new test account—using 5000 points.
So I did exactly that. I used my points, invested the time, passed the test, and then I got this message:
“Upon checking, TAKEPROFIT882964392 (the test attached to the pending pro account) was created using credit. Please be advised that accounts purchased with credit are not eligible for promotional offers, as there is no subscription attached to these accounts.”
Basically, they’re saying my account doesn’t count for the promotion because it was created using credit, not a subscription.
Now they want an extra $130 from me.
Honestly, can you see what’s going on here? Why am I supposed to spend my time, points, and coupon just to be told at the end that I still have to pay more?
If the rules are going to work this way, then I could have just started from scratch—subscribing to a brand-new account for $100, upgrading straight to the Pro account, and getting started without paying anything extra.
So what was the actual purpose of earning and using those points and coupons?
This makes absolutely no sense, and it feels unfair to subscribers.
Be upfront from the start. If not, people will leave—just like they do with plenty of other companies.
And their response was unfortunately: “There is nothing that can be done.”
So, why should I keep spending my time and money with them?

Honestly, a lot of prop firms feel a bit shady and the rules can be ridiculously complicated. That said, Take Profit Trader stands out as 100% legit, and it’s surprisingly easy to use.
Customer service has gotten a lot better too since I started using them—like, it keeps improving every time I reach out. I’ve had multiple payouts with them now, so at this point I feel pretty confident going forward.
Big shout out to Rhayan from customer support as well. He just helped me resolve my issue quickly, no runaround.

I ended up buying 3 accounts in one go. Unfortunately, the discount didn’t apply correctly—only 1 of the accounts had the code attached after checkout. The other two were charged at full price, so instead of paying $85 each, I got hit with $171 for both.
The moment I reached out, Ricardo—my awesome support consultant—sorted it out. He processed refunds for the two overcharged accounts (back to $85 each) right away. No questions, no back and forth.
TPT really comes through, again??!

Overall, the trading rules and the account features are pretty amazing. That said, customer support, the withdrawal timeline, and how long it takes to get a payout approved are absolutely terrible. I’ve personally been stuck waiting around 2 days and 3–4 hours just for my balance to update. After that, it took roughly 13 hours for them to approve my withdrawal request, and even then I still had to wait for the payout approval to go through.
If they fixed the support response times and sped up the payout process, this firm would honestly be top tier. As it stands, the platform is strong, but the timing is a dealbreaker for me.

I’ve tried a few prop firms over the years, but Take Profit is honestly the best one. When you look at everything—trade rules, payout policy, and how the evaluations translate into pro accounts—TPT comes out on top by a wide margin.
Customer service is also solid. They’re polite, quick, and they actually know what they’re talking about. I spoke with Joao about adding Level 2 data to my accounts, and he was incredibly helpful. It was set up within minutes, which was a pleasant surprise.
