E8 has targeted my account twice now. I’m not exaggerating—if you’re an experienced trader, I’d really suggest you steer clear.

The first challenge went through pretty smoothly, and I got my initial payout confirmed for roughly $1,300. But then things changed fast. E8 emailed me saying my trades were pushing into drawdown too much, and that my account would be limited even further.

According to them, they rolled out extra rules after the fact—namely a maximum 1% loss per trade, and a mandatory 60-minute wait after hitting a 1% loss. It’s stringent, sure, but what really bothered me is that these limits weren’t clearly listed anywhere up front.

I followed their restrictions anyway. Even so, when I requested my second payout—this time around $2,500—E8 responded again and claimed I was using “risky trading practices.” They attached a screenshot showing drawdowns, but honestly the screenshot looked like barely around a 1% loss per trade.

Their reasoning also doesn’t make sense to me. They accuse me of one-sided betting, but a 1% loss per trade doesn’t exactly sound like one-sided behavior.

Until E8 resolves this properly, I’m going to have to share what happened and spread the word. It’s not just about the money—prop firms need to take fairness seriously, otherwise they’ll keep earning a bad reputation.

I’m hoping they re-review everything and do the right thing here. I’ll update this if they correct course. For now, I can recommend Fxify instead—they seem a lot more straightforward about payouts and account limits, without unfairly targeting traders.

Honestly, this was very goooood. Everything felt smooth from start to finish, and the overall experience was better than I expected. I don’t have much more to say—if you’re on the fence, just go for it!

I bought an account and it never showed up on Tradovate. I was told customer service would handle it at 5am, but I haven’t heard anything all day long. Honestly, it’s pretty frustrating to pay upfront and then just sit there waiting. I’m not sure what’s going on, but the lack of updates is not great.

Not bad at all, but it’s definitely not great. Honestly, it feels pretty average—okay for the price, but I expected a bit more. I’ll use it again, sure, but I wouldn’t be rushing to recommend it to everyone.

    取引を始めたばかりで、正直まだよく分からない部分が多いので、ひとまず評価は3にしました。

    ちゃんと出金できるのを確認できたら、その時点で5に上げたいと思います。

After about two and a half weeks with E8, I honestly can’t say I’ve had a good experience. To put it bluntly, they come across as impersonal, slow to respond, and frankly not very caring.

In that time, I received 15 emails from E8. None of them were signed by a real person, and none of them included a name—just generic messages. That might sound like a small thing, but it really sets the tone.

Last Tuesday I triggered my challenge account past the drawdown limit. The reply I got was, in my opinion, condescending and also pretty uninformed. The wording felt like something you’d see in a template: “We regret to inform you,” plus lines like “Remember that not every day is a winning day in trading” and “We believe in your potential.” I get that trading is risky, but the message didn’t help and didn’t feel thoughtful at all.

I responded to their cancellation like this:

    “Thank you for your note.

I’ve been working through an issue where my EA, which runs successfully on TradingView when written in PineScript, needed to be translated into Python to run on TradeLocker. I was premature launching it on your platform—so yes, the drawdown was excessive. I’m continuing to work on the EA. Does anyone know a reliable person or service that can translate my PineScript into Python?

Also, when I signed up with E8 you had a special running tied to your largest all-time payout, where I could get two tries to win the challenge for the price of one. Can you please verify that, and if possible, reinstate my account with TradeLocker so I can use my second attempt? If not, please tell me how I can purchase another challenge.

    Thanks—”

It’s now been three days and I still haven’t heard back. At this point, I was ready to purchase a fresh challenge, but the “retry button” they mentioned in the rejection letter simply isn’t there. I also tried ordering another challenge through the online interface, and it was denied without any explanation. I told the company about this about two days ago, and again—no response.

On top of everything, it looks like when they terminated my account, they also deleted all of the work I had done developing my Python code. That was pretty disappointing, especially since I was actively improving the project.

One more thing that really confused me: throughout my time with E8, I was never once asked, “How is it going with TradeLocker?” Yet two separate emails from them urged me to post my experience on Trustpilot. Why would they encourage feedback that could reflect badly on them? In my case, I don’t see how anyone could read what happened and call it positive.

Really good customer service. They replied quickly and helped me with everything I needed in just a few minutes—seriously, it was fast. Friendly and professional too, which I appreciated. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for quick answers.

So far, my experience with E8 Markets has been really good. The evaluation process went smoothly, the rules were easy to understand, and the support team handled my questions professionally. What I like most is that their risk team actually took the time to verify traders properly using a live call process—honestly, that kind of step makes a difference and shows they’re serious about keeping a disciplined trading environment.

From my side, spreads and execution have also been solid, and the platform feels more trustworthy and transparent compared to many other prop firms I’ve tried. Overall, it’s been a positive start, and I’m looking forward to continuing my journey with them.
