Trading platform: 7/10. It’s worth noting that while they do offer their own trading platform, the absence of popular options like MT4 and MT5 is a significant drawback, which I’d rate a mere 3/10. On the brighter side, the helpdesk deserves recognition with an 8/10 for its chat availability.
However, it’s important to point out that the firm doesn’t clearly present information on swaps and taxes, which can create confusion.
Before you embark on the trading challenge, you’ll see leverage up to 1:100. But once you take up the challenge, the message on your account dashboard reveals a different side: “For Classic, No Time Limit, Goat, and Swing Plus Evaluations, the leverage will be up to 1:50 for Forex, 1:20 for Metals and Commodities, 1:15 for Indices, and a mere 1:2 for digital currencies.” This lack of clarity can certainly be perceived as less than transparent.

My initial experience with this proprietary trading firm led me to some serious concerns right from the start. After purchasing an account, I tried to install the MT4 software, but my PC flagged it as a virus, which raised some red flags about its safety.
Initially, I contacted support regarding this issue. They reassured me that the application was safe and even recommended using a sandbox environment if I had any reservations. To further investigate, I ran the software through VirusTotal, where several security vendors marked it as malicious.
As for the dashboard updates, despite the support team’s reassurances, using the application in the sandbox environment has not been smooth. The dashboard fails to provide real-time updates on my trade analytics, only displaying the balance and drawdowns at the end of each trading day. For active traders, this delay in information is quite detrimental.
Furthermore, after a few days of usage, the MT4 application suddenly stopped working altogether in the sandbox environment. This kind of instability has significantly disrupted my trading and exacerbated my worries about the software’s reliability.
When I reached out to support again regarding these new problems, they suggested I request a platform change. Although this could potentially resolve my issues, it feels like an inconvenient and lengthy process, especially for those who need constant access to their accounts.
In conclusion, my overall experience with the MT4 application in the sandbox setting has been less than satisfactory. The initial safety concerns, paired with the absence of timely updates and the app’s instability, really compromise its effectiveness. The recommendation from support to switch platforms only adds to my frustration, rather than offering a straightforward solution. I sincerely hope the developers take these issues seriously and work towards enhancing the app’s compatibility, stability, and security. Until improvements are made, I would advise potential users to be wary of the challenges they might encounter.

Their response was simply, “we don’t explain cheaters, because otherwise, they’d find a way around it.” Following that, I found myself banned from their Telegram group, a place where various prop firms promote their services, which indicates a reluctance to address issues and an ability to block users at will. What can one really expect from a firm that appears to engage in comment farming using bots on Twitter? (You might want to check their X account for yourself.) After the ban, I lost access to my dashboard altogether. It’s best to steer clear of GFT and their founder, Edward.
