I urge you not to invest your time or energy in this firm. Once you request your initial payout, say goodbye to your funded account. Learning about this absurd policy completely sapped my motivation, and naturally, I failed my challenge. Their so-called “prop company” model simply doesn’t add up; it feels far from being a legitimate proprietary trading firm. I strongly recommend steering clear of this one!

I want to express my genuine happiness with my experience at Hantec Trader. Having been with Hantec Market for over four years now, I’ve always hoped they would add a proprietary trading firm to their offerings. Thankfully, this dream became a reality in January of this year. I’ve seen significant improvements since they launched this feature. That said, I believe there’s still room for enhancement to maintain competitiveness. Here are a few suggestions I think could really help:
First, withdrawals should definitely be allowed more than once a month without any additional fees. Secondly, I feel that withdrawals shouldn’t impact trading accounts. While it’s fantastic to have the freedom to trade any lot size, HTrader should also consider allowing traders to reap the benefits once they hit the 10% target. Lastly, more frequent promotions would certainly encourage additional sign-ups.

Now, let’s discuss some of the positives. They offer an excellent trading platform—MT4/5, which many proprietary firms struggle to provide these days. The spreads and market execution are commendable, making for overall solid trading conditions. However, I won’t give them a five-star rating just yet because there are areas that need improvement. For instance, they don’t allow merging of multiple accounts, and the three-minute scalping rule is a bit restrictive.

After receiving a payout of $11,000, I decided to invest again with Hantec and successfully passed the evaluation for a $200,000 account. However, they later rejected my application citing a rule I had overlooked—most trades must exceed three minutes in duration, which I accepted as part of their criteria.
Shortly after, I was granted another $200,000 account. I passed the evaluation the second time, but then they claimed I was over-leveraged or over-exposed. While there are no explicit limits on lot sizes or margin rules, it seems that using high lot sizes can lead to immediate disqualification from funding. If you fail with that lot size, they tend not to provide any explanation or refund; however, passing could become a hassle.
For traders who are consistently profitable but prefer to trade with high lot sizes, Hantec seems to question your suitability and might actively seek ways to prevent your continued participation.

I initially encountered issues when trying to pay for a trading challenge. I reached out to customer support through chat on two occasions, and I found them to be both efficient and helpful. Later, I decided to contact them via Telegram, where I received the same level of excellent service. The main hurdle I faced was that my card was from the USA, which prevented me from completing the payment. They suggested alternative payment options, but unfortunately, I wouldn’t be able to process that on the same day. This was concerning since I’d miss out on the ongoing 30% promotional discount.
However, they reassured me that once I had the funds, if I sent a message via Telegram, they would still honor the discount. True to their word, I was able to make my payment with the 30% discount, even after the promotion period ended, just as Hantec had promised.
Now, I’m looking forward to diving into trading and seeing how it progresses. A big thank you to the entire Hantec Trader team for their attentive and outstanding service!
