In comparison to other futures prop firms, this one lacks transparency in several key areas. For instance, their FAQ section doesn’t address some common issues that traders encounter.
1. I found it surprising that the reset cost isn’t clearly outlined in the FAQ for all account types. They only mention that you can initiate a reset from the dashboard after purchasing the evaluation account. Unfortunately, I had to reach out to customer support to clarify this. While I did browse through the FAQ before buying the account, I must admit I didn’t pay close attention to the reset details.
2. Another point of concern is the absence of commission costs for buying and selling, which is crucial for calculating the P&L of the evaluation account. Again, I had to contact customer support for this information.
3. Sometimes, the response time in customer support chats feels a bit longer, especially right at the start of conversations. I’m okay with waiting, but I mention it because during a recent Discord meeting, they touted their customer support as a major selling point, claiming they outperform many other prop firms.
4. I noticed that the $30k static account has been removed from their website. They had been marketing this account as one of the industry’s best, so it’s puzzling why it was discontinued. Why keep the starter and expert accounts instead? Could it be due to the high failure rates associated with their trailing drawdown accounts? While MFFU has the right to manage their offerings however they see fit, the decision raises questions.
5. It’s also perplexing that the reset cost is the same for the static and expert accounts. Why not just purchase a new evaluation for 30 days instead?
6. Additionally, the profit target is higher compared to many other prop firms. For example, while MFFU sets an $8k target for their $100k EOD account, competitors like Uprofit and TickTick have targets of $6k, and Tradeday sets theirs at $5k.
On the positive side:
1. The expert and starter plans offer inclusive pricing, which makes budgeting simpler. Plus, separating beginners from experienced traders is a smart move.
2. They provide a variety of platform options.
3. I’ve found their customer chat support to be friendly and professional.
4. Their dashboard is both appealing and functional.
5. They do allow for copy trading on about three accounts, although I haven’t tried that myself.
6. As for payouts, I can’t comment, as I have no personal experience in that area. -

Drawing from my experiences with other futures prop firms, I have to say that the level of customer support I received from MFFU is truly exceptional—almost like something out of a fairy tale. Their readiness to assist, engaged communication, and dedication to helping traders have reset my expectations for support in the futures prop industry. The thorough attention from TradeSage, Spidy, and their tech team made a lasting impression, significantly enhancing my experience with MFFU. It’s incredibly reassuring to know their team is available to handle any pressing issues.
Beyond my recent experiences, I want to explain why I chose to trade exclusively with MFFU. Having been funded by firms such as Apex, Blusky.pro, and TakeProfitTrader, and currently overseeing 10 $100k funded accounts through Apex, I feel I have valuable insights to share regarding why MFFU stands out compared to other prop firms.
To start, MFFU’s expert evaluation plans deliver flexibility unmatched by other firms. With many other prop firms, you often deal with stringent daily loss limits and restrictive trading policies, such as consistency and scaling rules. Plus, there are activation fees with many firms. In contrast, MFFU’s plans are refreshingly straightforward—no daily loss limits, scaling rules, or activation fees, making them much more trader-friendly. Their drawdown is end-of-day, an improvement over the typical unrealized trailing drawdown used elsewhere. If you compare what MFFU’s expert evaluation plans present, you’ll quickly see that no other prop firm offers anything close.
Next, MFFU’s funded account rules and payout process are far more user-centric and streamlined. Their rules emphasize avoiding drawdowns and trading responsibly during major news events, steering clear of high-risk ‘yolo’ trades. The payout structure is generous and clear-cut, featuring a 90/10 split after the first $10k every two weeks.
Having come from Apex, I find MFFU’s payout policy far simpler and less confining. With the absence of scaling plans, mandatory trading days, and consistency rules, traders gain the freedom to leverage their strategies as they see fit. With the first $10k in profit every 14 calendar days belonging entirely to you, there’s potential for over $100k of profit before any splits. Without the restrictions of consistency rules, MFFU allows you to capitalize on your trading edge effectively, seizing opportunities that Apex and other firms often limit.
In conclusion, my recent experience with MFFU has been truly outstanding. Their support, particularly from TradeSage, Spidy, and the tech team, has been remarkable. The easy-to-navigate modern dashboard and flexible trading rules feel very much like managing a personal account. This perfect blend of support, flexibility, and trader-centric policies is what led me to commit to trading exclusively with MFFU.
