After requesting a payout from Alpha Trader Firm on January 4, 2025, I noted on their website that my account would be reviewed and that funds would either be denied or paid out within a 48-hour window. Since my withdrawal request fell on a weekend, I began counting from Monday.
I reached out to customer support multiple times, each time receiving the same response: “Please be patient.” Unfortunately, they exceeded their stated 48-hour guideline, which was quite frustrating. I was simply looking for a realistic timeframe for my withdrawal.
On January 16, 2025, I confronted them on Discord after realizing that they had changed the payout time frame, as I had been waiting since January 4. In response, they instantly banned me, claiming at 5 PM that I had violated the rules regarding EA trading. The timing of this accusation felt incredibly convenient, given the context.
The following day, I was granted a chance to appeal the decision regarding my account. I submitted hard evidence showing discrepancies in the trades they accused me of making, which were not even present in my ledger. It seemed clear that the alleged trades either did not happen on my account or were fabricated.
I sent my appeal within the designated seven-day window, yet a month later, I’ve still received no response. In my email, I meticulously outlined that I hadn’t broken any rules, including supporting screenshots, and clarified that I only traded Gold on this account. I even offered to adjust my trading style to swing trading if they were dissatisfied, and suggested a reduction in my payout—yet they shockingly did not respond.
I will update this review as the situation progresses, whether they choose to do the right thing and fulfill my payout—since no rules were broken—or if I receive a partial payment or no communication at all. Until I get a definitive update, I would advise other profitable traders to steer clear of this firm.

They claimed I had violated some trading rules concerning news trading, which supposedly happened over 15 days ago. This was simply not true, and I never received any email notification from them. It feels like a pure scam, and I won’t be working with them again. I have another active account, yet I fear it will face the same issues when I request a payout, so honestly, there’s no point in continuing. I strongly advise staying far away from this company and its questionable practices.

The customer service at this firm is truly disappointing. I purchased a trading challenge but never received my login credentials. They created an account for me on their dashboard using an email that, unfortunately, doesn’t work anymore. I reached out to inquire about updating my email, but it felt like I was wasting my time for days as they finally informed me that changing the email was not possible due to security protocols. I couldn’t help but wonder how they expect me to successfully complete the challenge without receiving any important updates via email.
To sum it up, this has been the worst proprietary trading firm experience I’ve encountered. I’m funded with FTMO and Toptier and have never faced any service issues with them. There’s a reason Alpha constantly offers discounts on their challenges—it’s because once you pay, their shortcomings become evident. Save your money; this is not a company you want to be involved with. Additionally, I’ve heard from others in my Discord group that Alpha has denied their payouts as well. It’s best to steer clear of Alpha!
