I experimented with six different accounts at this firm, and I have to say, my experience was far from satisfactory. The first two accounts had their trades cut off unexpectedly, and I was left scratching my head, convinced my risk levels were appropriate. The trailing drawdown they impose makes it virtually impossible to trade effectively.
On my subsequent accounts, I tried various strategies, but each one yielded the same frustrating outcome. As a day trader who relies on my own capital and has experience with firms like FTMO and Topstep, I found this situation particularly disappointing. With Apex, if you want to hold a trade for just a few hours, you have to monitor it obsessively. One minor wick movement, especially if you’re trading more than a micro lot, can send your trailing drawdown limit through the roof.
The pricing of the accounts is tempting, but it’s clear why—the pass rate must be very low. Honestly, the voice-over guy in the tutorials comes off as rather smug, and his arrogant demeanor should have raised a red flag for me about the company’s integrity.
In the end, I lost about $1,000 trying out their offering. Unless you can dedicate all day to hovering over the charts just to keep an eye on your trailing drawdown, I’d recommend looking elsewhere. The difficulty in achieving any meaningful profits here is significant. For futures, I’d suggest heading over to Topstep; at least they have a solid reputation.
I find it hard to believe that anyone has ever received a payout of a million dollars as they claim. There’s just no way a trader could hold a large enough position long enough to hit anywhere near $50,000, let alone a million. All in all, my impression of this firm is less than favorable.

I have been trading with Apex for over a year now, consistently enjoying a payout rate of 75%. However, I’ve grown increasingly concerned that the firm may be facing financial issues. Recently, it feels like they’re overwhelming traders with various demands that negatively impact our mental well-being. For example, they have introduced probation status, insisting that we maintain a safety net zone, which wasn’t outlined in our original contract. Additionally, they require video verification to explain our trades, but it’s unrealistic to expect traders to cover their entire thought process in just 5 to 10 minutes. Trading often requires patience and time to wait for the right setup, sometimes taking an hour or more. I’m truly disappointed with the direction Apex is heading. It seems they’re not adhering to the rules we all signed, and these late payments appear to be a tactic to manipulate traders’ emotions.

These videos should show your face and hands while you explain your trades and the logic behind them before you can continue receiving payouts. It’s important to note that Apex has the authority to refuse any payments they consider not meeting their criteria. As for customer support, it is exceptionally prompt for new clients; during the first couple of months, they’re very attentive, often responding within hours or a few days. However, around the six-month mark, the response time may slow down, taking anywhere from three to nine days.

Last month, I successfully passed my first account and also requested my initial payout on the 5th. I received the funds without any issues just yesterday. In fact, I already asked for my second payout yesterday as well, and I’m eager for more in the future! However, I’m not too keen on the three-month cap for withdrawal amounts. It would definitely be better if they could reduce that to just one month instead.
