As a relatively new trader with just two years of experience under my belt, I stumbled upon APEX during a seminar hosted by WealthCharts, and it has undeniably transformed my trading journey. The promotional offers provided a motivating challenge for me to complete the evaluations before they expired. Initially, I approached the process hesitantly, but I successfully passed the $25,000 and later the $50,000 evaluations. Then, I noticed a special opportunity for a $300,000 account that required achieving a profit of $20,000 within a tight timeframe and following specific rules. This led me to critically reassess my entire trading strategy.
I quickly realized that trading micros simply wouldn’t cut it, so I pushed myself to utilize minis instead. Overcoming the psychological hurdles related to significant dollar amounts and potential drawdowns was essential. I also had to strategically align market liquidity with my order size to adhere to the $7,500 drawdown limit. Additionally, the experience prompted a shift in my focus and discipline—qualities I hadn’t recognized I was lacking until being challenged. If I can replicate 10 more trading days like today, I could see myself generating around $244,000! I’m hopeful that I can maintain the necessary discipline to reach that goal. Thank you, APEX!
