It turns out they create a lot of rules that serve to trip up traders, oftentimes leading to account blowouts, ultimately avoiding payouts. They had mentioned that the “30% consistency rule” wasn’t a strict guideline, but just the other day, I received an email from them stating: “We received your payout request; however, after reviewing it, we regret to inform you that we cannot approve your request at this time. Your payout was denied for the following reason: ‘30% Rule – Windfall – Gamble.’ To save yourself some trouble and cash, give Apex a pass and look elsewhere.

They do pay out, which is no secret, and the experience can feel almost surreal. Overall, they have a solid reputation. The account setup is quick and efficient.
However, there’s an issue with Rithmic. Unfortunately, it leaves much to be desired; it’s plagued by numerous bugs. When market volatility spikes, there are times when it lags for several seconds. But this is definitely more about Rithmic than the firm itself.
