    I’ve run into several issues with Apex lately and I’m reaching out in hopes of finding a constructive resolution. While the potential of your platform has impressed me, my recent experience has raised some red flags regarding both processes and communication.

    Recently, I submitted a payout request just outside the designated payout window. This was partly my oversight, but also a glitch on the website that allowed me to submit it. I did receive an email stating that the payout request had been accepted, but then, I never received the payout, nor any follow-up communication to clarify the situation.

    After waiting a week, I decided to open a support ticket to figure out what happened with the missing payout, anticipating at least a resolution or some sort of status update. Sadly, it’s now been three weeks with no response. To add to my frustration, my accounts have completely vanished from the dashboard, leaving me without access or any clarity about my situation—only one account reappeared today.

    The lack of communication and support regarding this issue is quite troubling. Clear and timely updates are essential for maintaining trust in a service like Apex.

    Despite these challenges, I still believe in the value that APEX provides, and I genuinely hope this review leads to a reassessment of my case and the existing processes. I am very eager to resolve this issue and regain my confidence in the service, eventually turning my review into a positive one.

    I’ve been trading with Apex for nearly two years now, and I’ve received one payout so far. My first request was turned down due to the old rules regarding DCA, but under the new guidelines, my latest request was approved almost instantly, with the funds in my account in less than 48 hours. Overall, I’ve had a pretty good experience with Apex. Occasionally, platform issues come up—though that’s rare with Tradovate—but they’ve consistently addressed these by resetting accounts to the previous end-of-day balance. This level of support is something I appreciate, as it’s not something a traditional broker could offer during live trading.

    Now, let’s talk about customer service. Initially, Apex had its share of problems in that department, and many traders, including myself, felt the frustration. I often received generic responses unrelated to my inquiries, and it often took over 24 hours to get a reply, leading to some not-so-friendly exchanges. However, since the recent changes, the customer support has greatly improved. They now tackle issues directly and provide clear, concise explanations. The tone of their responses has shifted noticeably, positively impacting my perception of the company and making me feel more valued as a client and trader.

    That said, I know not every trader has had the same positive experience. I’ve heard numerous complaints from fellow traders who claim they’ve been overlooked when dealing with payout issues or rule disagreements. However, I can only speak from my own experience regarding support.

    One piece of advice for Apex, if they’re listening: reconsider the 5:1 rule. There’s a lot of confusion surrounding it, and I believe the existing 30% loss rule should be sufficient. I have a lot more I could say about this, but I’m sure they’ve heard the feedback from others as well.

    All things considered, I wouldn’t hesitate to trade with Apex. Just make sure to read the rules! I feel that most of the new guidelines are straightforward and should lead to payouts rather than denials. Others may see it differently. I interact with quite a few traders, and it’s apparent that some are frustrated about payouts, even when they knew they were breaking the old rules. They often refuse to give Apex another shot under the new, more simplified rules. Plus, I appreciate that Apex doesn’t shut down your account for occasional rule breaches—they allow you to keep trading with your existing balance, which is exactly what happened in my case.

    One last thing for those curious: it took me over 1.5 years to get my first payout, but I fully own that timeline. I don’t blame Apex for this at all—trading is challenging. There are many rumors surrounding various funding companies, and I think some individuals prefer to point fingers at the prop firms rather than acknowledging their personal shortcomings. I don’t say this to promote Apex or anything of the sort. Instead, I mean it genuinely, having invested significant time and money into my trading education myself. I could easily hold bitterness, but I choose not to. Ultimately, I believe that my outcomes are in my own hands.

    Apex Trader Funding has garnered mixed reviews, and I’d like to share my honest experience with them. I have participated in several challenges and even held funded accounts. However, I feel compelled to warn others that this isn’t a firm worth investing your time and money in.

    One major concern is the plethora of rules they impose. These regulations can lead to the denial of payouts, which is quite frustrating. Interestingly, they require you to submit videos, showcasing yourself and your trading strategy, especially during profitable periods. Honestly, I haven’t come across any other trading firm that operates this way. The excessive rules seem to be a tactic to limit payouts and maximize their own profits.

    While they attract customers with low prices, what good is that if you’re not valuing your time? The ultimate goal in trading is to earn money, and there’s no shortage of online videos documenting instances where payouts have been denied. Apex appears to operate under the notion that they are the sole players in the Futures prop firm market, but I assure you, there are numerous companies that will honor your earnings.

    I still have funded accounts with them; however, I’ve halted trading because it’s disheartening to put in so much effort only to have your payout rejected due to vague reasons like “Improper Risk Management.” In conclusion, if you care about your money and time, I strongly advise you to steer clear of this firm.     I finished my last evaluation trade at 9:33 AM and got my congratulatory email at 5:17 PM, complete with instructions to set up my proprietary account. That’s just 17 minutes after the regular trading hours ended. By 6:46 PM that same evening, my account was all set up. Overall, I’d say Apex has a solid system running.

I’ve sent quite a few emails, yet we haven’t received any substantial feedback since my wife was asked to verify her identity and provide a video of three days of trading. Both of us are skilled traders, managing over $250,000 across our seven accounts, and it’s concerning that we’re not receiving the support we need at this time. While I’m not suggesting they won’t honor our accounts eventually, currently it feels like we are less prioritized. I want to clarify that I’m not criticizing the company; rather, I am simply seeking assistance from someone in a senior position. For reference, our account number is 137516, which should make it easy to get in touch. I’ve been very pleased with Apex in the past and would gladly rate them five stars. However, I feel like we might be slipping through the cracks and really could use some support.

    Apex Trader Funding has really turned into a scam at this point. They seem to do just enough to give the appearance of being a legitimate company while denying thousands of payouts along the way. The rules are absolutely ridiculous. And don’t even get me started on the nonsense surrounding APEX 3.0. Everything they tell you is possible—well, you might want to proceed with caution because they will likely deny you for attempting it.

    For instance, they claim you can use DCA or Flip Trading, but if you do, they hit you with “Improper Risk Management.” And when the time comes to withdraw your hard-earned money, you can expect a denial and an additional eight trading days added on, seemingly in the hopes that you’ll blow your account.

    I strongly advise steering clear of Apex. There are plenty of other proprietary firms out there that will respect your hard work and not deny your earnings. Don’t fall for their cheap evaluation discounts; that should be a major red flag. Wishing everyone successful trading!

    My experience with Apex has been distressing, much like what others have reported, particularly in 2024, where it seems the company has scammed many traders and left them without any recourse. It all kicked off in May when they began retroactively changing their rules to withhold $10,000 in payouts from me. They demanded detailed reports about my trades and insisted I reveal my trading strategy. I complied and provided every piece of information they asked for. Then they escalated their requests, insisting that I film myself while trading—screen, face, and hands all included. It was incredibly uncomfortable, but my determination to secure my hard-earned money pushed me to comply.

    Throughout 2024, I managed to generate $200,000 in profits across my accounts with Apex. But then, out of the blue in September, I received a letter informing me that I would be banned from purchasing evaluations until 2026 and placed on probation—completely uncalled for. This move feels like a way to trap my hard-earned money; I’ve had a staggering $95,000 denied, and the $200,000 I’ve built up seems to be unreachable now. Every time I ask for a payout, I’m met with the excuse, “Probation standards not met,” even though I adhere to all their rules. This feels like a blatant ruse aimed at robbing me, and I am certainly not alone—many traders are in the same boat.

    If you’re looking to be profitable, Apex is not the right choice. This firm operates like a scam, seemingly built on a failed Ponzi scheme model with cheap evaluations and loose rules that they alter frequently to deny payouts. Their new business model, Apex 3.0, is likely to fail just like the previous ones. They have a clear strategy: when you start making money, they stop the payouts, which is how they maintain their operations.

    Traders should not fall for their cheap testing gimmicks. Many of the substantial payouts they tout are marketing schemes aimed at traders with large online followings. Furthermore, Apex compensates affiliates like Patrick Weiland, Brian Stonk, and TTrades to promote their evaluations for hefty commissions, creating an illusion that Apex is rewarding them with significant profits. The truth is, Apex wouldn’t pay them if they weren’t affiliates.

    The actions of CEO Darell Martin Jr. and CFO John Skelton raise serious ethical concerns; it feels like they are exploiting traders who have no means to seek redress. My recommendation? Avoid trading with these individuals. Your goal as a trader is to earn money for a better future, and they appear determined to prevent that. I would absolutely not recommend Apex to anyone. Their rating on Trustpilot seems phony, likely generated by their employees. I strongly advise steering clear of this firm and suggest considering alternatives like Topstep, MyFundedFutures, Tradeify, Tradeday, or Takeprofittrader—these firms seem to uphold solid rules and actually pay their traders. Apex is a disgrace to the proprietary trading space and gives the entire industry a bad name. Stay away.
