I’ve been trading with Apex for a few months now and have had my first eight payouts processed without any issues, all of them approved and paid out quickly.
However, I recently requested a payout on January 8, which was approved just a couple of hours later, and I received a “payment sent” email the next day, on January 9. Normally, I would expect the funds to show up within 24 to 48 hours after the email confirmation, but as of today, January 16, I still haven’t received the payout, and there hasn’t been any communication regarding an update.
As long as you adhere to the guidelines, you can expect to be compensated. It’s really that straightforward. Following the rules is essential, and doing so can lead to a satisfactory payout. So, if you stick to what’s expected, the rewards will come.
The technical support at the firm leaves much to be desired. Communication solely happens through email, which leads to frustrating delays of around 24 to 36 hours. Unfortunately, the guidance offered is often outdated and fails to address the real issues at hand. For instance, I encountered connectivity problems between my Apex accounts and NinjaTrader.
After several days and numerous email exchanges attempting various solutions, I finally received a list of recommended actions. One of the steps suggested was to import the Apex license key into NinjaTrader, but it turns out that NinjaTrader no longer requires such keys, making the instruction irrelevant.
Feeling stuck, I informed Apex support about this, hoping for further assistance. Instead, the response I received was a link to the FAQ page, which was the very starting point of my inquiries. To add insult to injury, Apex support later sent me a survey link to gather feedback. It appears that genuine support is lacking, and I’m left feeling pretty much abandoned in resolving my issues.
I’ve achieved success by consistently making winning trades. It feels great to keep accomplishing more and more in my trading journey.

Initially, I was somewhat forgiving when it involved smaller amounts, like $100 to $300 disappearing from my accounts. However, this time it escalated to a significant $1,600 loss. Unfortunately, without a screenshot of my account, I had no proof, and the firm’s support team was unhelpful.
To add fuel to the fire, there were ongoing issues with Tradovate. This meant that after my account was wiped on just the fourth day of the month, I couldn’t trade again until the 14th. This kind of incident feels repetitive and raises concerns about whether it stems from negligence in maintaining their systems or if there’s some malicious intent aimed at increasing stress for traders. The resulting pressure can push people to over-leverage and ultimately blow their accounts.
I feel compelled to share this experience as it has been a continuous issue. New traders shouldn’t have to face such challenges. It’s especially frustrating considering that Apex recently raised their prices yet continues to have these problems. There are no refunds offered, nor are there discounts for the following month, so you’re left paying more with no genuine opportunity to successfully complete your challenge.

This is an absolute scam! If you happen to secure winning trades—yes, even in the evaluation account—suddenly, Tradovate stops functioning. You find yourself unable to open any positions, and then, without warning, your account gets reset the next day, erasing all previous gains! It’s evident that the company explicitly states that no trades are actually placed on a live broker account, which shows they have zero incentive to support profitable traders on their platform. Consider this a lesson learned!

🚨 A Cautionary Tale About Apex Trader Funding 🚨
I feel compelled to share my experience with Apex Trader Funding to shed light on some troubling practices I’ve encountered. It seems they are focused on cutting off successful traders, denying payouts, and ultimately banning those who show consistent profitability.
Here’s a breakdown of what transpired:
1️⃣ I managed 20 Performance Accounts (PAs), each with $3,350, which sums up to over $67,000 in total.
2️⃣ On January 6th and 7th, I attempted to execute trades but ran into major troubles with Tradovate, including rejected orders and inaccurate drawdowns. Apex openly recognized these issues and advised traders to refrain from trading. I adhered to this recommendation and submitted two support tickets detailing the problems.
3️⃣ Yet, despite their acknowledgment, they insisted I submit two video recordings of my trading over two business days that included January 2nd, 3rd, 6th, 7th, and 8th—days they themselves had stated were not suitable for trading due to platform issues. This unreasonable request made it impossible to comply.
4️⃣ When I failed to meet this excessively demanding requirement, rooted in their own platform’s faults, they proceeded to close my accounts, rescinded my 20 PAs, and restricted my access to my funds.
5️⃣ Their solution? They offered me a chance to restart with new evaluations but stripped away my 20 accounts and $3,350 balances, while refusing to refund any lifetime performance account or evaluation fees.
This feels like outright theft. I’ve also heard from many other capable traders who have been barred from acquiring new evaluations without any justification, all simply for being profitable. It appears that once you demonstrate that you can trade effectively, Apex will do everything in their power to push you out, obstruct payouts, and eliminate your trading opportunities with them. It’s a scam.
I have gathered evidence, including:
✅ Announcements from Apex instructing traders to halt trading.
✅ Their unreasonable demands and failure to address my issues.
✅ Documentation of my account balances showing losses incurred.
I refuse to let this slide. I plan on pursuing legal action against them and will escalate the matter to every relevant legal and regulatory body, including the CFTC, FTC, and others.
