Having spent nearly a year with FundingPips, I recently encountered a surprising new rule on my master account. It states that if you lose 3% on a single trade using multiple lot sizes, you risk losing your entire account. It seems like a ludicrous rule, crafted to mislead traders into believing they have a 5% daily loss limit, which is the norm. However, this stipulation means that a loss of 3% on just one trade can wipe out your account, even if your daily loss threshold hasn’t been approached.
This hidden rule isn’t made clear; instead, it’s tucked away in various sections of their documentation, making it difficult to find. This allows FundingPips to effectively jeopardize your funds and breach your account without proper warning. It raises the question: what’s the point of trading with this firm? Additionally, the existing trading conditions are quite unfavorable, and these new restrictions only complicate the journey toward payouts.
It takes significant time and effort to get through the evaluation process, yet the moment you come close to being rewarded, they seem to change the rules on you. It’s utterly ridiculous, and I have decided to steer clear of FundingPips going forward.

For instance, after successfully passing Phase 2 and receiving your master account details, you often have to wait an additional 2 to 4 days for your account to become active. As traders, we really shouldn’t have to endure such a long delay to access our live accounts.
