I want to share my experience with ICfunded, and quite frankly, it’s been a disappointing one. One of the most frustrating aspects is their policy toward account losses. If you happen to lose an account, they will allow you to purchase a new one. However, if you successfully pass the evaluation rounds and finally obtain a funded account, they seem to find numerous ways to restrict or eliminate it afterwards.
For instance, I was granted a $100,000 funded account, but they enforced a strict 1% risk rule. During my trading, I hit a stop loss and incurred a loss of $1,250. To my surprise, they closed my account without any prior notice. It’s astonishing that they would deactivate a $100,000 account simply because of a relatively small loss of $1,250, which is just 1.25% of the total account value.
This raises serious concerns about their practices, and I can’t help but feel that ICfunded is operating in a manner that systematically diminishes traders’ opportunities with funded accounts. I want other traders to be aware of these issues and perhaps encourage ICfunded to address their system flaws. When I reached out to their support team for clarification, their response was, “We are working on that, and hopefully, it will be implemented this year.” Such a reply, tinged with uncertainty, raises questions about the urgency or commitment to enhancing security.
As traders, we invest substantial effort and resources into managing our accounts. It seems only reasonable that a company would prioritize implementing basic security protocols to safeguard its clients’ interests.

As a trader from Malaysia, I found myself quite disappointed with the payment process at this firm. The platform isn’t very user-friendly and tends to be slow, particularly when dealing with DuitNow and cryptocurrencies. Currently, the only crypto option available is the Tron network.
While I can’t comment on the customer service, as I haven’t had the chance to utilize it yet, I was genuinely excited about this opportunity until the issues with payment arose. I sincerely hope they make improvements in this area. On a positive note, I do trust IC Markets and IC Funded; they are both established and reputable brokers. If you’re located outside of Malaysia, it might be worth giving this firm a try.

The rules they enforce are largely comparable to those of other proprietary trading firms; however, it’s important to clarify that they do not trade with real money—everything is conducted on demo accounts.
One significant drawback is the lack of effective communication channels with traders. Although they maintain a community platform, it’s stated that this platform operates independently from IC Funded, meaning the two do not share updates. For instance, when IC Funded made changes regarding the trailing drawdown, they updated their website and rules documentation but failed to make any announcements on the community platform, like Discord. Consequently, when members asked about the 1% risk rule, there was confusion and a lack of clarity regarding the new regulations, resulting in potential penalties for traders who might be unaware of the updates.
On a positive note, their support via the website and email is commendable. While replies might not come within half an hour, they are consistent in responding eventually, which is reassuring.
Looking ahead, there are a few changes that traders hope to see: the establishment of a moderated Discord channel that encourages feedback and communication; a shift from being a proprietary firm to a true funding firm that handles real money; the introduction of a scaling-up plan; and a more straightforward set of rules compiled into a single document to avoid any hidden traps, like the consistency rule or the 1% risk guideline.
By making these adjustments, traders can collaborate more effectively with IC Funded in the pursuit of market profitability rather than feeling as if they are betting against the firm.
I look forward to sharing my thoughts again should the conditions improve to resemble those of a genuine funding firm. My experience with IC Funded has been positive, notably due to their association with IC Markets, and I have been trading with them since April 2024.

I’ve been funded with this firm for the past six months and have consistently made profits. However, things took a turn when they breached my account over a supposed failure to adhere to the 1% rule. It’s disappointing since most companies give at least two chances. My payout was $3,102, but it feels like they just collect fees from traders and then disappear. When you don’t pass Phase 1 or Phase 2, they never ask why you failed. But as soon as you make a profit, suddenly all the rules come into play—like trading behavior and other stipulations. It really feels like a scam; I strongly advise staying away from them. Thanks.
