  I’ve been trading with Instant Funding since February 2023, and I believe it’s an excellent choice for anyone considering a proprietary trading firm.

  Why do I think so?

  First off, there’s no time limit on your trading, which is a huge plus. Plus, they offer auto scaling—if you hit their profit targets, your account grows. That’s pretty impressive!

  Secondly, their fees are competitive, making them an attractive option for traders.

  Additionally, you’re allowed to trade during news events, which is great for those looking to capitalize on market volatility.

  Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, I haven’t encountered any of the alarming slippage that can plague trading activities elsewhere.

  Overall, my experience has been positive, and I highly recommend them!

  After I successfully completed the challenge, I received the login details for what they referred to as a funded account via email. However, it’s worth noting that this account was inactive and essentially just a demo account—definitely not the real deal. According to their website, this inactivity stems from their internal risk management protocols.

  I soon reached out to customer service to get clarity on why my so-called “real” account wasn’t live. They informed me that the account access was revoked due to a violation of their “stacking rules.” It’s vital to highlight that stacking means opening multiple positions in one direction. My trading strategy relies on capturing market trends, and opening several positions allows me to leverage these trends effectively, thereby maximizing potential profits. It’s not as if I’m indiscriminately adding positions; I always keep an eye on the maximum drawdown—even with a stop-loss in place. Yet, their interpretation suggests that even when adhering to their drawdown limits, traders can’t freely open new positions.

  They presented me with two options: a refund or another free attempt at the challenge—but only if I modified my trading approach.

  Update: 15.06.2023
  In response to my feedback, they have since revised their rules. Now, ‘stacking’ is permissible during the challenge itself. Additionally, they granted me a ‘demo’ funded account since I passed the challenge.

  Conclusion: It’s crucial to scrutinize their terms and conditions thoroughly before diving in, as some rules are not readily available on their website.

  Last month, I achieved a 20% profit on my account, but to activate the advantageous 90/10 profit split, I needed to reach out to them via email. One customer service representative mistakenly noted that I had only achieved a 10% profit. This was puzzling, given my account balance of $3,004 on a $2,500 account size. After I clarified the situation, I received no further communication. Eventually, after a week of silence, I reached out again and was told my issue would be escalated to another team. Another week went by without any updates, leading to further frustration. In the end, I opted to scale my account and withdraw my funds. Unfortunately, the 90/10 split was never activated, leaving me disappointed with the experience.
