  I had a fairly positive experience with this proprietary trading firm at first, but I recently encountered a significant issue with my account (ID 224313). My payout channel became inaccessible, and while my account remains active—meaning I can continue trading and generating profits—I’ve been unable to withdraw any of my earnings. When I reached out to customer support, they informed me that my KYC (Know Your Customer) verification was rejected due to multiple accounts associated with me.

  I tried to clarify my point: if that’s indeed the case, then they should have clearly stated this restriction upfront when I was purchasing the account. It seems only fair that KYC checks should be completed before payment was accepted to buy the account. Currently, I’ve made a profit of about $1800, but I’m unable to request a payout. Despite sending numerous emails and using their chat support, the response has been frustratingly consistent—my KYC verification was rejected. However, the dashboard does not reflect any rejection status for KYC verification.

  This kind of practice feels quite deceiving, almost as if they’re trying to avoid paying their clients by coming up with flimsy excuses and conditions, which is incredibly frustrating. If there are rules regarding multiple accounts, they should have made them clear before I bought the account—not afterward when I’m already generating profits and suddenly facing issues with KYC. So, a word of caution to those considering this prop firm: be very careful when purchasing an account. You may risk losing your investment, as it seems like they have multiple ways to avoid paying out your hard-earned profits. To reiterate, my account is still active and in good standing for trading, yet the KYC status remains ambiguous on the dashboard, preventing any withdrawals.

  I purchased an $80,000 instant funding account and managed to make $4,000. However, when I requested a payout, they emailed me to inform me that my request was denied due to a supposed violation of the Martingale rule, which I strongly believe I did not commit! According to their own website’s guidelines, I opened a trade on Bitcoin with 0.7 lots, then partially closed 0.1 lots for a profit of around $40. The remaining 0.6 lots were closed, resulting in a loss of about $7. Thus, in total, I ended my 0.7 lot trade with a $30 profit.

  Following that, I opened another 0.7 lot trade and earned $1,800. The firm claims I breached their rules because I started this new position after experiencing the $7 loss, even though that was merely a partial close, and the overall trade had resulted in a profit! Moreover, a $7 loss is rather insignificant and occurred due to slippage when my stop-loss was executed at the entry level. They state that this rule is in place to prevent individuals from engaging in revenge trading, but clearly, I wasn’t doing that after a mere $7 loss. It’s frustrating that they are rejecting my payout on that basis.

  I responded to their email, asking for clarification on how their website implies that one can’t take trades after a previous one has closed profitably, even if the last partial resulted in a minimal loss. Unfortunately, they stopped responding altogether.

  Update 1:

  I received two emails from the firm. The first was an offer for a free $10,000 evaluation account in exchange for reconsidering my Trustpilot review. They mentioned that they had revised their margin rules based on user feedback. I explained that I’d be open to the offer if they refunded the evaluation fee and paid out my withdrawable profits. In the second email, they asked for a screenshot or link to my updated review as proof. My response remained the same, and I haven’t heard back since.

  I faced payout rejections based on technicalities. I had two instant-funded accounts worth $2,500 each, with approximately $600 in withdrawable profits—one allowed weekend and news trading, and the other did not.

  What struck me as sneaky is this: I would never create an account with restrictions on utilizing more than 50% of margin on trades, but this crucial information isn’t disclosed when purchasing the account. I bought the second account because the weekend and news trading option appeared to invalidate that margin rule, albeit at a lower leverage.

  After executing over 600 trades and earning more than a 10% profit on both accounts (one even scaled to double the amount), my payout requests were denied for the following reasons:
  * One was rejected due to exceeding the margin on a single trade (from 600+).
  * The other was turned down for employing a Martingale strategy on one trade (again, from 600+).

  The maximum payout had been $50, and I had previously received three payouts of $25 to $50 without issues.

  While it’s accurate to say I should have been more careful, as a software developer, I acknowledge that mistakes happen. In both instances, it’s hard to label my actions as “gambling.” A 50% margin requirement feels like a gambling rule; how can I be gambling if there was clearly an error in lot size (just one trade out of 600+)? Regarding the Martingale claim, is it really a strategy when it stemmed from a mistake in opening a position with 1 lot instead of 0.8 lots?

  Here are my main concerns:
  * These rules are designed to prevent gambling and the Martingale approach, but one small error can lead to payout denials and could compromise payouts on other accounts alongside lowered leverage across the board. Their warning was clear: “Please be advised that non-compliance with this guideline will result in declined future payouts and an adjustment of leverage to 1:5 on all related accounts.”
  * You must request a payout before being held accountable for these rules. In theory, one could trade for an entire year, accumulate $100,000 in withdrawable funds, and still be denied at the time of withdrawal.

  They did offer to reset my accounts in both situations, but I have no confidence in their integrity moving forward, so I declined. For anyone else, I wish you luck in navigating their rules without making a mistake.

  As for Instantfunding.io, I’m sharing this for transparency, despite losing my funds for two accounts and facing payout challenges. I’d rather warn other traders who might share my apprehensions about their practices than see more one-star reviews. Engaging in these kinds of tricky tactics could harm them in the long run.

While I understand that this could warrant some action, the firm could simply deduct the profits from that specific trade and pay out the remainder, as their FAQ implies. Instead, the support team is attempting to reset my entire account, taking away profits I’ve earned while adhering to their rules. This feels quite unethical.

  Additionally, the support representative has mentioned a gambling violation, but their interpretation of what constitutes gambling seems to diverge from the definitions provided on their website. I’m currently holding an active trade that is generating significant profits, and they seem intent on confiscating those as well. I’ve also attempted to warn others in the Discord community, only to have my messages flagged. Overall, my experience raises some red flags regarding the integrity of their payout processes.
