My funded account was denied due to their KYC partner, Sumsub, labeling me as a “compromised person.”
I reached out to Sumsub for clarification, but they provided no explanations.
Having been in this market for over four years, I hold several funded accounts with other prop firms and have never faced issues verifying with Veriff, a reputable KYC provider—not like Sumsub.
While Petra in Discord support was kind enough to explain the situation, I can’t help but feel frustrated that they chose to trust their KYC partner, which could easily fail verification without proper justification, over me as a client. To add to it, they outright refused to manually verify my ID, which is a significant red flag.
Proceed with caution when considering this firm. So far, it feels like I’ve wasted both time and money, and I’m just hoping for a refund at this point.

The trading conditions here are quite concerning, particularly for those focused on Gold. In mid-January, I noticed significant slippage and spreads skyrocketing to levels that made trading nearly impossible. Often, the spreads hovered above 5 pips, sometimes reaching 7 or even 8 pips, which translates to about $0.70 to $0.80. For anyone trading Gold, such conditions are far from ideal and really not feasible for scalpers. Even the spreads on currency pairs are unexpectedly wide; I can’t quite wrap my head around how that works.
In reviewing feedback from other traders, it seems less than 1% have actually had successful payouts with Fortraders. There’s a lot of buzz about Juan’s swift responses, but I don’t think that’s worthy of a five-star rating; to me, a prompt reply should just be standard in a prop firm. I’m hopeful for better trading weeks ahead, as I’m eager to see some improvements in trading conditions.
