I’ve been trading with this proprietary firm for a few years now, and I must say, my recent experience has left me quite disappointed. Over the years, I’ve invested in more than 10 accounts, and looking back, it feels like trusting this platform was a mistake.
Recently, on a funded account that had a 5% daily loss limit, I thought I was in the clear. The platform indicated I had about $30 left before hitting that limit, so I went ahead and closed my trade. To my surprise, I received an email notifying me that my account had been breached.
After reaching out for clarification, I discovered that the breach resulted from an undisclosed fee of $32. If fees influence the daily loss calculation, then why aren’t they reflected in the overall loss displayed? This lack of transparency creates an unfair trading atmosphere, particularly for those of us who count on the platform’s accuracy.
It’s really disappointing to have invested in over 10 accounts only to encounter such a lack of honesty and clear communication. If I had understood how the calculations truly worked, I could have made different choices to prevent the breach. Losing an account because of a minor $2 discrepancy is incredibly frustrating and feels unjust.
Furthermore, you keep insisting that I’ve broken the rules, but how can I adhere to them when your platform fails to provide clarity and adequate explanations of the calculations? A good trading platform should be transparent and easy to navigate, allowing traders to grasp their risk exposure fully.
Given this experience and the overall lack of transparency, I can no longer place my trust in your firm and certainly won’t be recommending it to anyone. Traders deserve a fair and honest environment, which, regrettably, I found lacking here.

As a scalper, I have to say that this proprietary trading firm may not be the best fit for you. The slippage and spreads here are among the most disappointing I’ve encountered in my trading experience. Honestly, the conditions for scalping are quite poor, making it one of the least favorable options I’ve come across for traders who rely on precision.
Additionally, I found that when I reached out to support for assistance, their responses often left much to be desired. One representative even asked, “What do you mean by spread?” which was quite perplexing. Overall, I would advise caution if you’re considering this firm for scalping strategies.

Brutal spreads and lagging PnL can really hurt your trading experience. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this proprietary trading firm for scalpers. When I opened a trade recently, the price moved in my favor, and with any other broker, I would have been in profit in a heartbeat. Instead, I found myself looking at a $300 drop in the PnL for a couple of seconds due to weird spread behavior. The spread eventually settled, but the price kept moving down, which is pretty unusual. Typically, spreads should follow the price, not lag behind. Just today, I saw a similar pattern; the price moved my way, yet the spread shot up instead of down, leaving me at a loss for three seconds when I should have been profiting. Trading is an art when you know your stuff, but it’s crucial to have a reliable platform. Unfortunately, Fortrafers isn’t that, at least not for scalping and my trading style, where lags simply can’t be tolerated.
