I purchased a $6,000 challenge account, and by mistake, I sent the wrong amount in cryptocurrency for my payment—I forgot to include the transfer fees. As soon as I realized what I had done, I made a second transfer to cover the shortfall. This second transfer went through successfully on my end, but when I checked the payment page, I saw that it had been marked as canceled, even though the funds were received.

When I requested to cancel my initial payment and get my transfers back, they flatly refused, insisting that there was no option other than to send yet another transfer.

After three days of trying to explain crypto transactions to the support team, I finally got access to my account. To be fair, the spreads on the charts initially seemed promising. However, actual trading was a different story— I experienced significant slippage. Conversely, while going short, the prices were always significantly lower than the bid price.

This is a scam! I had my buy stop, stop loss, and take profits set during a major news event. Imagine my shock when I discovered that they had adjusted my stop loss, increasing it so much that I lost $1,000 on my $10,000 account. The news played out, and it became clear that my stop loss had been modified, along with the entry point. My buy stop got triggered at a completely wrong time when the market had already lost its momentum and reversed. When I attempted to close the trade, they wouldn’t let me. As a result, I ended up with a $1,000 loss, and to add insult to injury, they sent me an email claiming that I breached the account rules. All the while, they were the ones manipulating my stop loss and entries by activating my buy stop late and adjusting my stop loss. I need some support on this!

I’ve been in the trading game since 2001, logging over 55,000 hours in the market, so I know what I’m talking about.
Let me explain why I cannot recommend Funded Next: nearly every trade I executed faced significant slippage. While minor orders may do fine, once you start dealing in larger sizes—like 10 or 15 lots of EUR/USD or USD/JPY during normal market conditions—you can expect slippages of up to 2 pips quite consistently.
To add to the frustration, the customer support here is not just unhelpful; they are downright rude and patronizing. They lecture users about slippage, claiming it’s just a part of trading during volatile environments. In my experience, I’ve faced ignorance and was told to simply accept the decisions made by their analysis team. I’ve replicated this slippage issue over 20 different trades, which is simply unacceptable. You can document this for yourself at BIT dot LY slash fnproof (minus the spaces, of course).
Throughout my career, I’ve usually seen slippage around 0.1 to 0.3 pips during busy periods, but this level is something else. It seems systematic, almost intentionally rigged to disadvantage the trader. My internet connection has been stable, with fast ping times; I’ve managed to trade 40 lots with other prop firms and never experienced slippage. I won’t name those firms here to avoid giving the impression I’m favoring them.
Funded Next has shown a lack of cooperation and flexibility. Therefore, I strongly advise looking into some reputable alternatives. It’s perplexing to see so many positive reviews floating around; I suspect many of those are from traders who might not grasp what normal slippage looks like, likely amateurs with little trading experience. There’s also the possibility that some reviews are generated through paid viral marketing efforts.
UPDATE: In response to your feedback: I prefer to use the name Hans publicly for privacy reasons. My account number is 11149582. Just today, I entered a short trade for USD/JPY, 12 lots, and executed it at 157.159—while the bid was around 157.18! Clearly, there’s a problem here. I expect a refund for these poor fills. I plan on sharing my experiences on social media and YouTube extensively, including video proof. These slippages are simply unacceptable, regardless of how your customer support tries to frame it. The more your support refuses to acknowledge the issue and insists I accept their analysis team’s conclusions, the more determined I become to shed light on this. I’m committing an hour each day to this for the next month. As an entrepreneur, even if it doesn’t directly hurt you, I can assure you it’ll cost you thousands of potential customers down the line. Maybe it’s worth considering whether this approach is beneficial for you in the long run. I’m just getting started.
