I started trading with FundedNext on a $5,500 account, and for the first two months, everything went smoothly. Payouts came regularly without any hassle. However, once I decided to scale up to a $120,000 account while using the same trading strategy, things took a turn. Suddenly, they accused me of engaging in copy trading. Their so-called evidence? A screenshot that allegedly showcased overlapping trade timings—suggesting that there was a 28% similarity in my entries and 22% in my exits. Even if this data was accurate, it fails to establish definitive proof of copy trading, as numerous elements like lot size, stop loss, and trade management contribute to how a trade is executed. When I pressed for more concrete evidence, such as investor passwords or comprehensive documents, their replies were vague at best, offering me a choice between restarting or refunding instead of providing clarification. It feels like the moment my potential earnings—around $8,500 weekly—started to look substantial, they sought ways to justify avoiding payouts. This behavior raises serious doubts about their integrity and credibility as a proprietary trading firm.

Fundednext has taken a rather controversial approach when it comes to their overnight charges, commonly referred to as ‘swaps.’ Rather than providing the customary benefits that most traders enjoy for holding profitable trades overnight, this firm seems to flip the script by imposing hefty charges, even if your position is in the green.
As a swing trader, I typically count on receiving swap benefits on my profitable overnight positions with other prop firms and even my personal brokerage. However, at Fundednext, it appears they are more inclined to penalize swing traders with these swap fees, contradicting their claims of being ‘swing trading friendly.’ This practice raises a concerning question: how can one genuinely promote swing trading while simultaneously penalizing those who engage in it?
Moreover, if you decide to opt for a non-swap account, you’re still looking at additional costs — a 10% fee, which adds insult to injury. After reaching out to Fundednext support for clarification, they confirmed that swap charges are indeed applied, and that any potential benefits are withheld from traders.
This experience has caused me to lose all trust in Fundednext, and I cannot recommend them based on such questionable practices. Consequently, they receive a disappointing one-star rating from me for these unethical policies. Stay cautious if you’re considering this prop firm.
