Despite following all risk management protocols and having what seemed to be a solid trading setup, my orders were ignored, leading to considerable financial setbacks.
While some degree of slippage is typical in trading, the level of slippage I experienced was far beyond acceptable limits—it transformed a profitable trade into a loss. This issue occurred with a minor lot size on the AUD/USD pair, a scenario that should not have led to such severe slippage.
It’s evident that FundedNext purposefully closed my positions when they hit the Stop Loss (SL) threshold, even after they had successfully reached the Take Profit (TP) level. This not only created frustration but also raised concerns about potentially unfair trading practices.
When I reached out for assistance, providing all relevant order details and a detailed account of what transpired, the customer support team failed to provide any significant help. They simply referred me to generic guidelines regarding slippage, which did not address the gravity of my situation.
In conclusion, this prop firm may suit those who completely avoid trading during news events and implement swing trading strategies. However, for day traders or scalpers, this prop firm is unlikely to be a viable option.

However, my dealings with FundedNext showed staggering execution delays of up to 90 seconds, which is a blatant deviation from industry standards.
While some level of slippage is to be expected in trading, FundedNext seems to take it to a whole new level, where delays and slippage can exceed three times the average. This not only skews trade outcomes but often turns potential gains into losses. Such practices scream manipulation at the expense of traders. When I sought help from their support, specifically from a representative named Sophie Lane, I had hoped for a professional response, but instead, I felt dismissed and unsupported.

I experienced a troubling situation with pending orders (IDs: 51468973 and 51468974) that were not executed properly. Even following my risk management rules, these orders were mishandled, causing me significant financial strain.Excessive Slippage:

When using MT5 for EURUSD trades, the spreads appear appealing at first glance. On the demo account, trades execute precisely as MT5 indicates; however, my experience with a live 200K Challenge was quite different. Upon placing a market order, the execution price I received diverged significantly from what was quoted on MT5.
As a demonstration, I used a copy trading strategy that mirrored my 200K Challenge trades to an FTMO challenge. For a sell order on Funded Next, I got filled at 1.05231, whereas on FTMO, the fill price was 1.05244—resulting in a 1.3 pip discrepancy. This gap is particularly troubling given that my stop loss is only 2 pips!
In hindsight, jumping into such a large challenge without thorough testing was a regrettable choice. The platform may suit traders with larger stop losses in the range of 8-20 pips, but for my strategy, it simply isn’t feasible. Overall, this experience felt like a complete waste of investment. My intention to clear the challenges is primarily to recoup my losses. I remain skeptical about the authenticity of many of the glowing five-star reviews surrounding this service.
