I’ve been trading with this firm since the start of the year, and I’m ready to share my honest thoughts. In comparison to other firms, MyFundedFutures has consistently provided me with multiple payouts and overall profits. I truly believe their account pricing is among the best in the industry, and they frequently offer excellent discounts. I’ve experienced payout times ranging from as quick as four hours to as lengthy as ten days. However, I must note that the payout times can be very inconsistent; I’ve had withdrawals processed in just four hours, while others took three days or even over ten days.
One standout feature is the dashboard, which I find to be one of the best available. Recently, though, I faced a payout denial and my account was closed due to not trading for a period, which I now understand was necessary to adhere to their inactivity rule. I was expected to place a trade at least once a week, but this coincided with the July 4th weekend when I chose not to trade my funded accounts. While I acknowledge this is part of their policy, I believe it’s a rule that deserves reevaluation—after all, even more questionable firms like Apex don’t have such strict regulations.
It’s quite disappointing to see my account, which had been active for over sixty days and had received multiple payouts, shut down just because I opted out during a holiday week. Despite that setback, I remain hopeful. The firm is known for continually making improvements, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they eventually extend the inactivity window to around two to four weeks. In my opinion, they rank in the top two firms within the industry. If they could adjust that specific rule, they’d likely be on par with the best. I plan to keep using their services, even if I think the inactivity policy is a bit unfair. Their new starter accounts, which come with straightforward rules for moving to live trading, are currently the best on the market. Being a relatively new firm, I have faith they’ll keep evolving and enhancing their offerings.

They certainly market a dream, but their Terms of Service frankly indicate that if your account experiences a significant loss, they bear no responsibility. While they don’t explicitly say you are liable, the implication is clear: they wash their hands of it.
Rithmic, as a service, seems to generate what are referred to as “ghost trades” on your account. Just search for it on YouTube, and you’ll see the evidence. These transactions are not initiated by you; instead, they appear randomly or in ways you never intended. Many firms offering proprietary trading challenges have faced similar issues, and MFFU is not an outlier. Interestingly, there seems to be an unspoken agreement among these firms that if enough complaints surface in a short span of time, they may need to address the problem of these ghost trades. If they choose not to, you’re left with a lost account and, according to their Terms, you receive zero compensation. They lack any proof that you executed the trades leading to the losses. In the end, you simply lose your investment and are left to find some solace in your own enjoyment.
I attempted to raise this issue on their Discord server, only to have my post swiftly deleted. Clearly, their social media is heavily moderated, not accurately reflecting the collective experiences of all users, especially mine which was unceremoniously swept under the rug.
Is it a scam? Legally speaking, perhaps not. Why? Because you agree to their Terms of Service, as I did, albeit with a bad feeling in my stomach, fully anticipating that these very terms would be weaponized against me. Yet, the allure of the dream pushed me to take that risk. In hindsight, that was a mistake.
To summarize, is MFFU a scam? Not from a legal standpoint, but their Terms of Service are clearly designed to shield them from accountability regarding issues they should address. They make it very clear: if Rithmic has a failure, they’re not accountable, leaving you with no option—accept their terms or leave—regardless of where the fault lies. Attempting to reach out to Rithmic? Don’t bother; you’re not their customer, so they won’t assist you. Got it?
Do yourself a favor and steer clear of all “prop firms.” Take some time to research bucket shops and their operations prior to the electronic trading era; you might find some similarities. I’m not suggesting that MFFU operates like a bucket shop—after all, they aren’t a broker—but you catch my drift. Do your homework. I lost money so you don’t have to. Instead, consider funding your own account and trading micro contracts. It’s a much smarter move.

What’s particularly ironic is that during an event, the CEO of MyFunedFuture promoted Tanja Trades, who runs a YouTube channel with about 50,000 subscribers, many of whom participate in group trading or copy trading with her. How is that even close to fair?

They claim it only takes “2-3 business days” to process payouts, which clearly didn’t happen in my case. When I brought this up in Discord, the admin got defensive and accused us of spreading fear, uncertainty, and doubt—similar to the situation with Apex, honestly.
