    This is a must-read, and I sincerely hope it gains the attention it deserves for prompt resolution. I genuinely appreciate my association with Take Profit Trader, but I’m willing to reconsider if changes are made. Additionally, I run a Discord community focused on futures trading, and it’s crucial for us to provide sound guidance to our members.

    To begin, I’ve noticed that Take Profit Trader prevents users from modifying their Tradovate auto-liquidation settings. This can’t be a mere oversight, as they have these settings locked down for DLL and trailing loss, leaving every other option inactive. If a single glitch occurs within the Tradovate app, it could jeopardize your Take Profit Trader account. These are standard risk management practices meant to safeguard against potential issues on the Tradovate platform, yet Take Profit Trader enforces their deactivation. Let me stress this: experienced traders rely on risk management strategies for unforeseen circumstances, not merely slippage or order entry problems.

    Other trading platforms incorporate safeguards to avoid any mishaps once trading wraps up. These are automated systems after all; just ask Crowdstrike—issues are a reality.

    I manage three accounts. My first account reached a profit target of +1600, and I deemed my trading day complete. I cleared all orders and moved on to my other accounts, trading them sequentially. One account suffered a loss of -1000, while the other fell by -685. I thought I was finished for the day, until I received a startling notification: my first account hit DLL! How is this possible? A trade was executed while I was asleep! I was utterly astonished and immediately contacted support for clarity, and I am now waiting for a response.

    The essential fix here is to allow users full access to the Tradovate risk management features as an additional layer of protection. Glitches are unavoidable, and we should have access to the necessary tools to manage risks effectively. Furthermore, implementing a lockout option on your website for accounts would serve as yet another layer of security.

    Please assist!

    I’ve got to say, the customer service here is among the absolute worst I’ve ever encountered. Seriously, just save yourself a ton of frustration and steer clear of opening an account. I bought two evaluations, yet they only credited me for one. To make matters worse, they flat out refused to honor the second one or issue a refund.

    I got my payout on the very first day, which was a nice surprise. It was just slightly above the buffer zone, but it still counts.

    Honestly, some of the rules are still a bit murky to me. Keeping track of dollar amounts intraday in the pro account can be somewhat tricky, especially after surpassing the buffer zone.

    I suppose this ambiguity might lead to taking less risk since you’re not exactly certain about the dollar amount—but maybe that’s a good thing?

    In any case, they processed my payment quickly. The interface can feel a bit cluttered and clicky at times, but overall, they did a solid job.

    I received my payment the next day, which was impressively fast. Their support team is quite responsive too, though they can come off as a bit stern.

    Everyone has their preferences, but this prop firm is definitely legitimate and seems to be top tier.

    The customer service experience here leaves much to be desired. Their website’s “About Us” section boasts about providing “unmatched customer service,” claiming that you can access a real person via live chat almost around the clock. Unfortunately, this assertion falls short of reality.

    I encountered what I thought was a straightforward issue. After purchasing an evaluation that I ultimately failed due to reaching the maximum daily loss, I decided to buy another one. They processed my payment, but the new evaluation just never showed up on my dashboard. After struggling with an infuriating bot, I finally managed to get in touch with a person, but the frontline agents were not particularly helpful. They promised to escalate my concern to a manager and assured me I would hear back within three hours, but that never happened. Now, I’ve spent over thirty minutes in chat, and still nothing.

    On top of that, their payment processor often seems unreliable, which adds to the frustration.

    The live data feed was missing at Tradovate after I registered. A few hours later, I tried reaching out to chat support, but I didn’t get a response because they claimed to be experiencing “high volume.” I ended up receiving an email response while I was asleep, stating that everything seemed fine on their end.

    The following day, I followed up with Tradovate and was informed that there was nothing wrong and that all settings were managed by TPT. I resorted to chat support once more, and thankfully, the issue was resolved, although it took over a day.

    I began my trading combine, but it was over in just a couple of minutes because of slippage, despite the market trending upward. I’ve worked with other firms, and I have noticed that Take Profit has the highest occurrences of slippage. It’s frustrating when you buy at one price and then they hit you with a different charge. For that reason, I gave them only one star. When I reached out to customer service, their response was simply, “That’s just the market.” Really? Haha. This is just my perspective, so proceed with caution and ensure you’re confident in your moves beforehand—slippage can sneak up on you.

Following that, I hit the PRO level after achieving a $9,000 profit, eventually managing to build my account back up to just over $6,000. True to their word, I received an offer for the real brokerage PRO+ once I crossed the $5,000 mark in earnings. I successfully completed the withdrawal application, including the W-8BEN forms, and even managed to withdraw $1,000. Remarkably, the transaction was processed the same day, and the funds hit my European account almost instantly.

    James and his team at TPT genuinely stand out; they are among the rare firms that provide actual brokerage accounts, a critical aspect for any trader venturing into this space. The ability to withdraw funds daily through their automated withdrawal system is nothing short of a dream come true. On a side note, it’s wise to steer clear of firms that only offer demo options and impose restrictive consistency requirements. It raises a big question: why would a reputable prop firm penalize a trader simply for having an outstanding trading day?

If you need the third reset, that’s potentially a $5,000 hit for a prop account.

    Failing and needing to reset can create immense psychological pressure to perform, so take this into serious consideration. My advice? Avoid anything over a $50,000 demo account, as the fees and resets can be overwhelming—unless, of course, you’re a seasoned day trader with a flawless win rate. 🙈

    There seems to be something off with this trading firm.

    In the past, I had positive experiences when signing up, passing challenges, and receiving payouts without any issues. However, my recent encounter has left me feeling quite frustrated. I asked for a discount code tied to a previous promotion they had running, the ’50AND50′ promo. This offer was supposed to give clients 50% off both the subscriptions and resets on a Pro Account, which, let’s be honest, can be quite pricey! It was marketed as a ‘lifetime’ discount for Pro resets, which includes three resets on each Pro Account.

    A few weeks back, when I reached out for the discount code, my request was denied. They claimed it only applied to one reset. Yet, just days later, I stumbled upon their Instagram post reaffirming that it was indeed a ‘lifetime’ deal. I distinctly remember this fact influencing my original decision to buy the account.

    After sending three emails and even engaging in a live chat, I have been met with silence regarding my concern. I can’t help but feel that this level of service is quite disappointing. Given the circumstances, I might just reconsider my $1,000 investment and explore other proprietary firms instead.
