Hello everyone,
I want to ask a question specifically about FTM. I haven’t purchased an account from you yet, even though I’m seriously considering it. The thing is, I’ve gone through the negative feedback and the stories from people who say they were treated unfairly.
Overall, here’s what it looks like from the outside: it seems like a lot of users are losing access because of how strict the rules are, and because certain “violations” are enforced very aggressively. I get that you need to make money somehow—especially from banned or blocked accounts—but the current approach doesn’t really look great to customers.
One part of FTM that I actually do appreciate, though, is that you’ve responded to almost all of the bad reviews. That said, in most of those responses, you don’t offer any real solution. It’s mostly explanations and continued defending of strict, non-negotiable policies. If you keep replying like that, you’ll probably stay viewed as a worthless and spammy prop firm, no matter how many payout numbers you throw out. Even if you really have paid $4,000,000 (or whatever total you claim), the hardships people describe will still outweigh it in the long run.
For context, I planned to open a $100,000 account with you through “Instant Funding.” I also intended to share my experience on my X account, which has about 773k followers. But I ended up not going through with it. The reason is simple: your rules and enforcement feel significantly stricter and less flexible than what competitors offer. I didn’t want to mislead people, or put myself in a position where I’d be blamed for something that wasn’t clearly handled upfront.
Just to be clear, I’m not trying to attack your company. I’m only raising concerns about your policies in a respectful way, because from what I’m seeing, there’s clearly a problem with how things are being applied.
With sincere regards.

I’m honestly extremely disappointed with my experience at Fundedtrademarkets. I bought a $5,000 Phase 2 account and also selected the 90% Profit Split Add-on. The problem is, during checkout there wasn’t any clear warning that this add-on would trigger an additional rule.
Instead, it activated something called the “Shield Risk Protocol,” which caps your floating loss at just 1% (so $50 on my account). To make matters worse, my account was breached at only a 2% drawdown. That directly conflicts with what’s advertised—there’s supposed to be a 4% daily drawdown limit. When I contacted support, they told me the 1% rule was hidden behind a “Click here for more info” link.
That’s a pretty deceptive setup. If a critical risk rule can cause you to fail an evaluation, it should be clearly shown in the terms—not tucked away behind a link, vague icon, or an option you don’t realize will change the rules of the account. From my perspective, this feels less like responsible risk management and more like a trap intended to make traders blow the challenge.
I requested a reinstatement or at least a fair review of what happened, but support has been unhelpful. I’d strongly suggest other traders to read every single detail and be very cautious with Fundedtrademarkets’ “hidden” terms.

I always have access to customer service whenever I need them, and that really stands out. On top of that, I like the instant funding and the account setup as well. The daily drawdown adjustments are also a big plus—seeing that the platform actively monitors things and seems to have my best interests in mind makes me feel a lot more confident using it day to day.

Fast And Furious, indeed.
I picked up an Instant Plus funded account and got straight into trading. After about 20 days, I submitted a reward request, and to my surprise, it landed in my Rise account within roughly 7 minutes. I’m not exaggerating—this was genuinely shocking. Honestly, I’ve never seen withdrawals move that fast with any other firm.
On top of that, the platform itself is pretty impressive. Their dashboard is detailed, modern, and honestly feels futuristic. Everything’s laid out clearly, and you can track what you need without digging around.
And then there’s the support team—absolutely brilliant. They’re always available, and they actually take time to answer your questions properly.
Overall, I’d say this one is highly recommended.

So far, this is the only prop firm payout I’ve received—and honestly, it couldn’t have gone smoother. The whole process was insanely fast, like literally within seconds. I was shocked at how quickly everything got sorted out.

They’re scammers. I’m not being dramatic, but I did lose money after using them—about 3% of my total, and in the end around 10% overall. Then they closed my account without warning.
So yeah, beware. If you’re thinking about signing up, don’t. You’ll likely lose your money, and once they’ve got what they want, they may shut everything down.

I’ve had a really good experience with them overall. The rules are laid out clearly from the start, so there’s no confusion about what’s expected. Whenever I’ve needed help, customer support has been quick to respond and genuinely pleasant to deal with.
They also handle setup fast—accounts and credentials are provided promptly, and payment comes in at lightning speed. Honestly, it’s one of those services that just runs smoothly.

I’m not writing this out of hate, but honestly as a disappointed trader. The main issue is the lot sizing. I bought a 100K Instant Pro account, and right from the start my account was already in a floating loss of around $1,400–$1,500. I was trying to short 1 lot of GER40, but the moment I placed that short, the floating loss began increasing fast. Within about 5 minutes, my account was gone.
Here’s the frustrating part: in cTrader, when I place “1 lot” on GER40 (and it’s basically tied to GER30 volume behavior inside their system), the platform effectively shows a much larger volume—around 25 lots or something close to that. I’ve been trading prop firms for 5 years and this has never happened to me like this. They really need to fix their lot sizing and make it consistent, because I didn’t just lose a small account—I lost a $577 account, and that wiped out my savings. More than the money, I lost trust.
Before this, I purchased several accounts with them, including bigger sizes, and I’ve spent close to $2,500+ total. So this time genuinely surprised me. If you’re going to trade with them, please make sure you check exactly how much volume “1 lot” turns into under their conditions. I also trade on cTrader, and in my case the volume wasn’t clearly visible when placing the order, which made everything worse.
At this point, I hope they can offer some kind of resolution. And honestly, the rule should be simple: 1 lot should be 1 lot by default. In other prop firms I’ve used (also on cTrader), placing 1 lot buy or sell shows as 1 volume, not 20, 25, or 30 lots.

They’ve been solid so far, and I really appreciate how fast and responsive their prompt service is. Whether it’s answering questions or handling payments without a hitch, everything feels smooth and well organized. Minor delays are rare, and when they do pop up, they’re dealt with quickly. Overall, it’s a service that’s reliable and easy to use.
