After the acquisition of The Forex Funder by Axe Securities on August 26, 2024, the prospects of this proprietary trading firm initially looked bright. Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse as they mysteriously went quiet, leaving thousands of traders, myself included, in a state of confusion and uncertainty.

It’s hard not to view this as fraudulent behavior, especially when you consider the significant amount of money traders, including myself, have invested—many of us paid $500 or more for a challenge only to find the firm vanished without a trace.

I personally dedicated over a year to my trading challenges, yet they have already failed one of my live accounts based on an inexplicable rule. I currently hold two live accounts and another in Phase 2, but I have no way to access them.

As it stands, I’ve lost nearly $3,000 along with almost 23 months of diligent effort.

I strongly advise against trusting this firm!

I had an experience working for this firm under its owner, Thomas Cobain. For weeks, I found myself not only working hard but also having to navigate his attempts to avoid making payments. In the end, I was left without payment for around $3,000 worth of work. It was disheartening to discover that he had done the same to two other colleagues. Like me, they ultimately felt compelled to quit when we realized he wasn’t committed to fulfilling his obligations.

I traded with this firm for 30 days, and when I requested a withdrawal, I was shocked to find out it took over 10 days for them to approve it. After they gave me the green light, I assumed the funds would be credited to my account right away. However, after waiting for 24 hours, I reached out to customer support and was told to expect my money to reflect within 1 to 5 days. When the 5 days passed without any update, I contacted them again and started to get suspicious.

It became clear to me that they might be running a scam. They claimed their server was down and mentioned something about migrating to MT5. When I confronted them about my concerns, I received an email stating that my account had been compromised. Just imagine—that’s after they had already approved my withdrawal and sent me a confirmation. Now, they’re backtracking, saying they made a mistake by approving it and that their review found I had only traded with micro lots.

This is a proprietary trading firm that doesn’t seem to have any consistent rules or guidelines regarding lot sizes. I have the contract, and it doesn’t mention anything about it. I also have all the documentation, including pictures and screenshots. Where can I share these?

I spent five months dealing with this questionable firm, @theforexfunder_. I passed my challenge back in February, but it took them two whole months before I finally received my funded account. After that, I traded for the required 30 days on my live account, and now, another month has gone by with no payout. It’s absolutely ridiculous!

I really believe there needs to be some sort of regulatory agency to oversee these prop firms. Quite frankly, this one feels fraudulent.

I purchased a challenge from The Forex Fund and I have to say it was a disappointing experience. Not only did they fail to provide me with any login details, but when I asked for a refund, they simply kept feeding me lies each time I reached out. It’s been incredibly frustrating dealing with this firm. Honestly, I consider it a total waste of both time and money. I strongly advise all traders to steer clear of them— they don’t fulfill their promises and clearly don’t value customer service. Don’t trust them!

I feel like I’ve been scammed. I had a funded account, but it was never transferred as promised. It’s really frustrating, and I strongly advise others to steer clear of this firm!

The CEO has proven to be untrustworthy. It’s wise to steer clear of any agreements on their platform—maybe consider using your funds for a more meaningful cause, like rescuing cats or another worthy endeavor. This firm resembles many other disreputable funded trading operations. Interestingly, it was previously acquired by another company, which faced significant challenges and ultimately returned control to the original owner. What does this imply for traders? Unfortunately, any challenge account you previously held has vanished, and chances of recovering it are slim to none.

Beware of this trading firm—there are definitely issues to consider. I’ve encountered what appear to be scams and questionable reviews. They seem to have unwritten rules that can easily be used to deny your payouts. It’s best to steer clear of this operation.

This firm has some serious issues. Many users, including myself, have found their practices to be misleading. It really feels like they’re taking advantage of traders instead of supporting them. Overall, I can’t recommend this firm based on my experience.

While I’m tempted to invest in the 100K table, the numerous negative reviews really raise a red flag about this company’s trustworthiness. It seems like scoundrels are everywhere these days, and it’s hard not to feel concerned.

A complete nightmare. I strongly advise against making any purchase from this firm. It’s best to not even entertain the idea. Just run away as fast as you can! I suspect they’re nothing but scammers.

Steer clear of this firm if you want to save both your money and time. Their practices are questionable at best; it feels like a scam. They consistently fail to pay their clients and instead seem to find ways to take money from them.

This firm seems to be riddled with shady practices. I’ve been waiting for my funded account and any payouts for over three months now, and honestly, it’s starting to feel like I’m dealing with a bunch of scammers. It’s incredibly frustrating not to receive what was promised. I would definitely think twice before getting involved with them.

This company appears to be nothing short of a scam. The tactics they use are deceitful, and it feels like they’re only out to take your money. It’s extremely frustrating to deal with such untrustworthy practices. Anyone considering working with them should proceed with extreme caution.

The experience with this trading firm has been utterly disappointing, to say the least. The current and former ownership appear to have led the company into a realm of dishonesty and deception. Thomas Cobain, known as @TJFX98, seems to be at the center of this issue, constantly churning out videos that lack substance. It’s quite alarming to note that they have not compensated any successful traders, and there is little indication that the new management will change this pattern.

I had an account with them, and I faced numerous unexplained transitions—from one account to another, and between platforms—yet nothing ever came of it. Their 24/7 live chat appears to be non-existent, and I struggled to submit any queries through their email form, which seems to be malfunctioning. To top it off, when attempting to log into my account dashboard, I received a message stating, “No account registered at that email address.”

It’s hard to find words that truly capture the depths of this experience. It’s critical that potential traders remain vigilant and not be misled by the claims of this firm.

Consider seeking opportunities with other proprietary trading firms. Trading with this one could lead to a lot of frustration. I waited over two months for my payout, only to have them deny it without providing a clear explanation. To add insult to injury, they subsequently removed my account from their system entirely. No payout, no account left.

Scam alert! Seriously, don’t bother wasting your hard-earned time or money here. I initially got funded, but then they switched their systems. When it came time for my payout, I reached out multiple times through email, but received zero responses. It’s best to steer clear of this firm.

This firm seems to be one of the biggest scammers in the proprietary trading industry. I strongly advise against purchasing any challenges from them.

I had several accounts, each worth $1 million, and every single time I attempted to withdraw my profits, they came up with some absurd excuse to deny the payout. For instance, they refused a payout because I had placed my stop-loss just seconds after entering a trade—not a significant issue at all.

During the first migration, they requested screenshots of my accounts from their previous dashboard, which was no longer accessible since it had been shut down. Eventually, they agreed to return my challenges instead of restoring my actual accounts.

Then, when the second migration took place, they blocked all my accounts once again. Despite my attempts to reach out through Instagram and email, their support team claimed they couldn’t locate my accounts using the email and name I provided—almost as if my dashboard account had never existed. After a while, they stopped responding altogether and eventually blocked me on Instagram and through email support.

In total, they managed to take a few thousand dollars from me. I’m sharing this experience so that others won’t fall victim to similar scams. If you’re looking for a reputable prop firm, I highly recommend FTMO; I can only share positive experiences about them.

I had a phase 2 account prior to the latest migration, but now I can’t log into the dashboard. It keeps telling me that my “email does not exist.”

In short, this feels like a scam!

I purchased a $100,000 trading account over a month ago, and I’m still waiting for my login details. Since the arrival of the “new management,” there’s been a noticeable lack of action on their part. As it stands, I’m uncertain whether I’ll ever see my money returned or actually receive an account to trade with.

I enrolled in a funded account with Forex Funder, and honestly, the experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. After the company underwent a “management change,” I found myself waiting for more than six weeks just to get my account credentials. This was definitely a huge warning sign. Unfortunately, things only deteriorated from there.

Instead of receiving the funded account I had rightfully earned, I was given a challenge account— as if I hadn’t already showcased my trading skills. This feels like outright deception, and it became evident that they’re just dragging clients along. It’s the same old scam, dressed up differently. I even shared the welcome email from Forex Funder that acknowledged me as a funded trader.

When I contacted their support team, I received absolutely no assistance, and they simply shrugged off any responsibility. Sure, the team may have changed, but the dishonesty certainly hasn’t. And honestly, good luck finding someone who can confirm they’ve ever actually been paid by these folks, because you won’t.

This platform is a total scam. If you care about your time, your finances, and your overall well-being, you should definitely steer clear of Forex Funder. New management but the same old tricks. Avoid the unnecessary frustration and look for a reputable platform instead.

Oh, and they love to mislead their members by claiming negative reviews are “paid reviews.” In reality, it’s the positive ones that are likely the manufactured ones. You’d think they’d deny payment to anyone, including Jesus himself, if they could. Plus, if you dare speak the truth and ask tough questions on their Discord, good luck— they’ll ban you without hesitation. A truly ridiculous company.

And just to address you, New Management: AXE.

I can’t believe I’m facing another rejection on my $10,000 payout. It’s frustrating! The company’s policy on stop losses is really concerning. A lack of a stop loss results in a breach, right? And even setting a stop loss with a trailing stop within 10 seconds seems to be a breach too. What’s going on here? It feels like I’m hitting a wall with these rules.

I initially purchased a $10,000 challenge before the firm’s first migration from Thinkmarkets. After that, I decided to invest another $10,000 following the migration, only to go through yet another switch to Axe. Now, when I attempt to log in, I encounter a message saying, “No account registered with this email.” To make matters worse, their support email seems to be non-functional, as it doesn’t receive any messages. It feels like it’s been migrations galore! I would strongly advise against this firm—don’t waste your hard-earned money.

Avoid this proprietary trading firm at all costs.

I had a payout scheduled for $40,000 from two $500,000 funded accounts. Just as my payout was due, they decided to conduct a migration, claiming it was necessary. Afterward, they announced they had new management in place.

When I inquired about my payout and the status of my funded accounts, I was initially reassured that I would receive my money. However, now they are telling us to request a refund from the former CEO, Thomas, who I suspect is just another scammer. It’s the same old scheme with new excuses.

I won an account with this firm last year and was informed that I could start trading whenever I chose. However, when June rolled around and I was ready to begin, I found that my account had been completely wiped from their database. I returned on September 21st, hoping it was just an issue related to their migration process, but once again, there was no sign of my account. When I contacted the help center on Twitter, they informed me that they wouldn’t assist me because I had deleted the Instagram where I originally won the account. This experience feels like a scam for sure.

This firm has proven to be quite disappointing. They often use migration as an excuse to withhold your funds, and their explanations lack any clarity or logic. Despite their questionable practices, they continue to advertise enticing discounts to lure in new clients, seemingly underestimating our awareness of their tactics. It feels like the time has come for them to be removed from the prop trading market entirely.

The service has been pretty disappointing. I went through months of migration and never received so much as an email to keep me in the loop. It would have been nice to get a heads up during the process.

I’ve heard that the firm is now under new management, but honestly, it seems like it could be worse than before. They rarely respond to messages, which is frustrating. While they continue to sell challenges, the trading platforms are still not accessible. It feels like a scam, so I’d advise against wasting your money here. They all just seem to be the same!

I bought an account a few days back and received an email with the login link. Unfortunately, it’s not working for me. I’ve attempted to contact customer service multiple times, but I’m not getting any responses or assistance. It’s quite frustrating, to say the least.

The support here is quite disappointing. I’ve sent three messages and received no response at all. I purchased an account for matched trading, but I still haven’t gotten the link I need to start trading. Without that link from TFF, I’m unable to proceed. This lack of support is really frustrating; it’s hard to understand how a firm can operate this way. Overall, my experience with the support team has been incredibly poor.
